I was very nervous when I didn’t see very many florists creating what we were looking for. When I went to flower lady with my bold and thematic ideas, I was met with enthusiasm and hospitality! The staff and owner personalized bouquets to match my wife and I’s very different styles/aesthetic.I’m honestly obsessed with how all the arrangements came out and I even asked my wife to order a replica of my bridal bouquet for our 5 year anniversary!! I wanted architectural and sculptural flowers in warm pink and peachy tones arranged much more spaciously than the traditional bouquet. I also wanted the bouquet to spread out horizontally rather than vertically. Flower Lady VA came in with stunning flower recommendations and offered to order specialty flowers to fit the theme. The staff and owner took the time to work with me, making sure they understood my vision and even introduced me to my new favorite flower: the King Protea. They took my inspiration and patchwork ideas and ran wild in the best way. Flower Lady made all my floral dreams come true. It was better than I even imagined!!Additionally, Flower Lady VA went above and beyond with the floral arrangements for our reception and ceremony. They crafted a gorgeous all green spray to go down the tree at the heart of our ceremony that coordinated perfectly with all the mossy and mushroom decor I had DIYed/crafted. Inside the tented reception the team incorporated the same orchids from my bouquet with the ruscus, trick dianthus, tree fern and curly willow.All the bridal party arrangements (the bouquets, boutineers, and mini bouquet for our floral girl) were perfect and clearly crafted with so much care.It’s downright impressive how spectacularly flower lady VA rose to my weird quirky challenge of a wedding. I don’t think my style is their style but you would never know from their enthusiasm, professionalism and creativity. “I ordered an arrangement for my favorite Aunt after she cared for and lost her dear Brother. I am in AZ and she is in Va Beach and I called with very specific instructions to make the bouquet unique and special. I spoke to a woman that was quick, efficient and accommodating and explained my situation and that I wanted an arrangement that was special supplemented with interesting elements that was full and unique. I asked if $100 would provide this? She agreed $100 budget she would create a full, unique and special arrangement. My Aunt was happy and I would say the service was good however, the value was not what I was anticipating. The arrangement was pretty, relatively unique but definitely fell short in the aspect of quantity of blooms. I order flowers often all over the country and will say this arrangement is smaller maybe a bit puny based on my vision very simple in comparison to arrangements I have ordered with the same budget. Give them a try, the service is on point and they delivered a pretty bouquet on time but I feel like it should have been a bit fuller and more creative based on experience. My suggestion is ask for a picture before they deliver to make sure your loved one receives the flower arrangement you are hoping for.”

“When a another local florist is unable to complete your request but recommends Va Beach Florist to you that says quite a lot about your reputation. On the day of my dear Aunt ‘s viewing in Norfolk Va I contacted Va Beach Florist. I had a picture of the Teleflora casket insert I wanted to order. The lady on the call was more than accommodating. She quickly found the arrangement and said let me check with our floral designer DJ. She returned to the call and said this arrangement is very fragile and could come apart. I’m thinking and said to her once it’s placed it’s not going to be removed, correct? She had DJ come to the call and he further explained this arrangement doesn’t have a water source and wouldn’t do well it there is another service scheduled after the viewing. There was but the HONESTY spoke volumes. DJ text me pictures of several options. I choose a baby breath heart with white roses on the side. He even added the ribbon all done in white. His talent was shown throughout the arrangement. What a honest, talented business man. Complete follow up with me here in Atlanta. WELL DONE HIGHLY RECOMMEND just ask for DJ!”

“I opted to go here vs a local competitor since the other place performed a bait & switch on me after paying for services. The lady who answered the phone was helpful and friendly. She answered all the questions I had regarding the flowers I was sending on behalf of my family for the loss of a long time family friend from out of state. I was in such a hurry when placing the order online after hanging up that I mistakenly chose them to be delivered a week later than intended but the lady who I spoke with remembered our conversation and the dates I had mentioned so before just ignoring what my online order said she called me back to make sure and the flowers were delivered that day. “These stars are directed towards the bakery department.(I think, from what I saw on her name tag) Kira, who might have been the bakery department manager was so kind, helpful, compassionate and accommodating. I noticed all the 30 count cupcakes were all white icing with light sprinkles and was hoping for more colorful options like they typically offer. She explained the current available in store options (not special ordered) and most likely saw the huge disappointment on my face. She offered to decorate a set with color, which was done expeditiously. I was absolutely thrilled and touched that she took the time to accommodate me, which was not demanded nor expected. She saw the opportunity to brighten a customer's day and she most definitely did! Kira, is an individual that a business should be very proud and honored to have. She exemplifies how excellent customer service should look. She listened, explained, understood me and made me feel seen and valued as a customer. I truly do appreciate her kindness and time and am very thankful & grateful. :-)Her willingness to help did not go unnoticed.
