By far and away the worst hotel ive ever had the displeasure of staying at and ive stayed at pretty mediocre hotels. Everything about the place is rundown. The guy at the night window 1was hard to communicate with and charged an extra $8 for a reason he didnt seem to want to tell us, but it was $8 so we decided not to think of it. As soon as we walked up to the room door I knew it was game over. It was a door(incredibly beat up looking) leading to a small corridor that led to the the actual room door, I guess for added security? Yikes. We entered the room and were immediately greeted with an old musty smell mixed in with the smell of cigarette smoke. We had booked a non smoking room. The room was RIDICULOUSLY hot, we turned the AC max power in an effort to cool it down but the AC seemed as old as the hotel and barley worked at all. The furniture is old and dirty with cigarette burns. We went over to the bed and the sheets, although they looked clean, smelled like smoke. The bathroom was extremly run down with a peeling tub. At this point we were considering just sleeping in the car because all other hotels had been booked for memorial day weekend and it was already very late at night, but the hotel is not in the best area so we figured itd be unsafe. We ended up spending the night and the smell and heat kept us awake the entire time. The WORST stay and one of the worst nights of my life. If you are considering this hotel, spend the extra money to go somewhere else, even sleeping in a tent would be better.

This was the worst experience ever you have to pay a $8 resort fee per day for absolutely no reason, no housekeeping, room was musty and floor boards is disgusting, and nasty, the red roof inn is wayyy better. The manager is nasty and unprofessional very rude and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Millie at the front desk is superb. She was above and beyond helpful when we were dog tired and just needed to lay our heads. The rooms (we have stayed twice now) we're clean and stocked. The location is fairly central VB. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing night. Also, plenty of nearby places for food!

If possible to give negative stars bc this place was pure Misery! The front desk staff charged me $30 extra than what I booked hotel for, which is ludicrous because the taxes were included in my booking price. He then tried to rip me off of $5 trying to play word games like I was an idiot and actually witnessed him pocket the money. It wasn't until I called him out and dumbed it down for him that I have a brain, then he finally gave it to me.The price and amenities online state there is breakfast and there was NO BREAKFAST and they actually tried to charge $1.50 for a Dixie cup full of day old burnt coffee. The room was FILTHY! The sheets and blankets hadn't been washed in weeks. My family's member tried to take a shower and the wash cloth had literally dirt and hair in it, yet was folded to look like it was clean. The floors hadn't been vacuumed and there were stains and writing on walls, doors, and mirrors. The day of my checkout my key stopped working approximately 4 hours to time of check out and I was told I needed to pay a fee to get a new key made. It was only after I threatened legal action did they finally remake/reswipe my key.All staff were rude, obnoxious, and ultimately work there to try and hassle people out of their money. I asked multiple times for a receipt for my room but was never provided one.I would rather sleep on the banks of a swamp than to ever stay at that hotel again. I literally set $250 on fire bc it was absolutely MISERABLE!Food & drinks: They lie and say there's breakfast but there's not and they try to charge for a 2 ounce cup of old burnt coffee

Arrived early, and the front desk clerk said there was no public restroom that the family member who dropped me off could use, and that there were no rooms ready. She didn't check whether any rooms were ready. After my ride left, I asked if I could freshen up, and suddenly a lobby restroom *did* exist. Once I was wearing more formal clothes, a room was suddenly available too. Rude and discriminatory. The (supposedly non-smoking) room I checked into smelled strongly of smoke. There was very obvious mold in the bathroom, and probably also on the one wall of the bedroom that was suspiciously freshly painted. Also, there appeared to be blood in the shower. My eyes and throat were burning, and after a few hours I gave up on spending the night here and checked out. It's in a rough neighborhood. The only food options in walking distance are across a very busy street. The night clerk stays behind safety glass, implying there is some danger at night. When I left, and angry person was yelling about not being allowed into the lobby.Sure, it's near the airport, but sleeping in the terminal would be better for your health than this place.

First of all I booked a no. Smoking room on Expedia because I was traveling though and I just needed to stop for the night, I got there to check in late check in was easy but they charged me more when I got there and the room was way more than what I had paid on Expedia. The room smelled absolutely awful like I just stepped into a smokers lounge, the walls were filthy, there was hair all over the bed and the toilet did not flush, and there were roaches in the bathroom . The smoke detector was taken off and just the electrical components were dangling the AC was was yellow and when you turned it on it smelled like cigarettes. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was hoping the good reviews outweighed the bad and maybe I just got a bad room but it was awful I ended up leaving and spending a ton of money on another hotel elsewhere because it was so hard to breath.

Front desk ladies are extremely friendly and helpful, it was so nice to walk into such a welcoming place. They got me checked in, in a timely manner, directed me to where my room was and let me know if I needed anything they would be right there to assist me which was also comforting. My room was very clean and comfortable. I had no issues my entire stay. There are lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance and the outlets are just down the street.Rooms: The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: Outlets, restaurants, fast food, mini stripsWalkability: Everything is within walking distance.

Water was running in tub, wouldn't turn off. Someone had thrown fruity pebbles against the wall and just left there. Was on the third floor. No elevator. After working all day, didn't feel like climbing steps multiple times to carry my stuff back and forth to the car.Rooms: Barely cleaned

I got a room for 2 nights. The first thing I do when I stay in a room is check the bed (sheets). As soon as I walked in the room had the stench old staleness and smoke. I should have turned around then. So next, I walked over to the bed and could automatically tell the pillowcases WERE NOT CHANGED. I then pulled back the sheets and could see they were also dirty. I left the room immediately and headed to the office to get my money back. I told the overnight guy why I wanted my money back. He said he'll make sure the change them in the morning. I was heated. I told him again I want my money back on my card so I can go to a better hotel. He claim he didn't have the access to do a refund and that I had to wait for a manager/supervisor to come. So I stayed outside in my car ALL NIGHT long. At this point I'm boiling. Around 7 something I went back into the office and a different guy was there. I told him the situation and I just wanted a refund. He had the audacity to only refund me for one night, not the two nights I paid for, even though I didn't even sleep in the room. Plus they night guy lied and scammed me out of some cash. I swear I WILL NEVER stay at a place where it's ran or owned by Indian people. They're money hungry, rude and arrogant (for no reason).Rooms: Dirty sheets and pillowcases on beds that's ready for check-ins. Stale odor. Outdated. Just Sad.

The hotel and location isn’t bad but if you are a black person they do not like our kind. I want to go check in but I couldn’t check in because I was on the do not rent list. They couldn’t tell me why. Mind you my whole stay I was there for a week and nobody came to check on us or ask us if we needed any service although I was paid and full when it came to my rooms. None of the house keepers speak English and the need some that do so things like GETTING A BROOM TO CLEAN YOUR ROOM IS A PROBLEM FOR THEM!!!!!!!! Yeah the price is cheap but please go spend yall money elsewhere. The disrespect, uncleanliness, and bad service is not worth the headache from this place ESPECIALLY when you didn’t no wrong and followed all of their rules.
