The staff at this CVS at the Oceanfront are the best! I have never had a negative experience in all the years I have shopped here. The pharmacy personnel go above and beyond to assist you with any questions you may have, help resolve our insurance related issues, work with medical practices to address any of our medication discrepancies. This location has a small town local pharmacy feel in a big suburban setting. I am grateful that this is my local CVS.Everyone who works here is always on the ball. They are respectful, professional and always willing to help under some very difficult conditions that are completely out of their control. Corporate CVS if you are reading this, you need to hire additional staffing to help improve the workload. When I moved here to VB in 2016, this CVS was open 24-hours a day. Extremely convenient. Over the last few years I have observed the store hours continue to lessen along with reduced workers.Also…this CVS is at a prime location during the summer season where it easily can be overrun with tourists and large crowds. Please adjust your staffing levels to help meet this continual reoccurring consumer summer rush. The store looks destroyed with empty shelves and reduced inventory after summer weekends and the CVS staff here always are working hard to restore the store to normalcy.Lastly…I AM GRATEFUL TO OUR PHARMACISTS for their assistance in providing the required COVID and flu related vaccinations. These professionals are overworked as is, but to have them now also provide this essential service intertwined with their other duties is above and beyond.Please hire the necessary staff to support your patient care and services commitment. Your increasing corporate earnings reveal you have the means to reinvest in your workforce and facilities. Help and compensate your workers accordingly.

My doctor had my prescription in on the ninth I went on the 17th to pick it up because it was due to be filled on the 16th here. I am on the 21st just now getting my medicine and just seem to can’t get out of bed to go get it now that I’ve been off of it it has been thrown me for a huge loop… I had to call them and get them to fill a prescription that they already had. I thought I had it… They need to pay attention. It’s really affecting peoples mental health out here.

I LOVE my CVS @ the oceanfront!! The customer service is EXCEPTIONAL from the store cashiers to the pharmacy employees!!!Everyone is so helpful, pleasant & you know they CARE!! many problems at this location. first is the turnover of employees. seems like I never see the same face twice. we've had several mistakes on filling orders. also they close at times not listed on the store hours. and terrible parking. but insurance made me move from Harris teeter on arctic, which has had the same pharmacist for years! go there if you can

Over 6yrs I have never had a bad experience. Day or evening, every employee has been as professional, curtious, decent and helpful as I can imagine. I wish they worked for me. Jenny, Rachel, Alana, Sammy, Ernest, Zach and Juanita are all awesome.

Avoid this CVS if in need of a pharmacy. Horrible customer service and a complete lack of communication. They never called to tell us they didn’t have the script. Then they said they’d transfer it to another CVS, only to not do that in a timely manner.

I wanted to update my review because I've had two good experiences at this location since my last review. Although the prices tend to be high CVS is in the business of printing coupons if you give them your phone number and a name. The last time I was there I bought fur rolls of unbleached, recycled toilet paper for $4.99, got a $4 off coupon, then immediately bought another one for .99 cents. Good deal. I made a return and it went smoothly without a receipt. A screwdriver was the wrong size and I think they had a record of it because I typed in my phone number when I bought it. Since I declined a printed and emailed receipt I wasn't sure how they'd handle it. It was no problem though and no questions were asked except for my phone number. I like their organic pistachios, but after I bought a bag on sale they ran out and haven't gotten them back in. The restroom is clean and most of the employees are friendly, helpful and respectful.

Pharmacy closes down on a whim which is just terrible when people need medication. Don't even update the phone line so if you hold for ten minutes they're closed. Lesson learned

Horrible service. Couldn’t find anyone working when I needed to check out, and then had issues with the self service machine. When the employee finally came, she was rude. The machine also did not print my receipt and said I “must’ve done something wrong” instead of helping to correct the issue. Do not recommend

Zero customer service!!! Don't go to this CVS... don't waste your time or your money at this location. Rude horrible, lazy staff who wouldn't know how to provide customer service if it fell on their head.
