Negative stars. Randy is one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. He dropped the ball and caused the whole deal to crash and burn due to his incompetence and lack of due diligence. He only cares about his commission. Run away as fast as you can.

We are so pleased with all the hard work Gina, Tori, Flo, and the rest of the Team put into selling our house. Gina never gave up and persevered though every unforeseen obstacle that was placed in her way. She even prayed with us. She is a outstanding woman of God and an amazing realtor. I thank God for putting her in my life. If you have this Team on your side you can’t go wrong. Praise to God and the Team at COVA Home Realty.

My experience started off promising. But did not end very well. It was already difficult completing this transaction virtually, due to military obligations. I was referred to Stefanie Mendez, stating that she was the “best”. I personally don’t think that was the case because don’t think she was out for my best interest but hers. I say this because 1) asking price was presented to me as is. I agree and made the offer, then suddenly she says that the sellers upped it by $6000, granted the asking price is what they presented. That was the first red flag. Really no explanation besides, the seller changing their mind. Keep in fact this was after I submitted the offer. 2) the referred contractor she presented did incomplete and shoddy work that required rework and close management. 3) There were items left from previous tenant that were to be removed. Some items were asked if I wanted, and out of consideration I agreed to a few pieces to help, but was taken advantage of and multiple items were left. I asked my realtor, but her response was “I wasn’t privy to those conversations”, didn’t get help with that. 3) Final walk through didn’t happen as promised. Contract stated these things and feel once she got paid, her language changed into “that’s not my problem anymore”, deflected questions from me insinuating deal is done. I did learn from this situation and put trust in someone that talked a good game. But was left without answers which ended with frustration and anxiety. I’d be very careful if this is the standard. Definitely left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

Tyler Krauss has represented me on a number of transactions, both as a buyer and seller, and I will continue to use him in the future. His work ethic, business knowledge, and his ability to communicate are top notch, qualities that are hard to find in most service driven industries today. I have worked with COVA Realty on my most recent project. My agent Tyler Krauss and his team were very professional as well as very knowledgeable . There team of professional worked very diligently to help resolve any issue that came along with the home selling process. In this day in age its great to know we still have people in the world who take pride in there work and look out for the ever day people . I would recommend there service to any one looking to buy or sale a home.

If your looking for an agent, look no further. Tyler Krauss is one of the most informative, patient, and knowledgeable agents I have ever dealt with. He’s represented me on both the buyer and seller side. I always recommend him to friends and family. I know several other people that have relied on him and they all have had the same experience. His willingness to help navigate and guide you through the buying or selling process is unmatched.

We recently worked with Tyler Krauss as the seller’s agent. He made the entire experience ardous and his negotiation skills are absolutely non existent. Tyler was sarcastic and condescending in nearly every interaction with our agent. I am unsure if that is how he treats the entire human race or if that is behavior he reserves specifically for his interactions with women. The entire experience was complicated by his lack of communication and professionalism. I would recommend listing your house with any other agent in Hampton Roads.

If I could give negative stars I would. I’ve conducted a ton of business in Hampton Roads and still do. I have never experienced a business transaction as I did purchasing a home from them and especially agent Tyler Krauss. I hope you’re aware of the type of agents you’re employing that represent your business. He was very unprofessional from the start and we loved the home and chose to continue to push through the deal. House went under contract ,inspections , appraisal and it got worse. He didn’t read the contract for his “seller” which we negotiated a washer and dryer in there and this agent went ballistic. Him , his team and their lawyers went silent , silent over a washer and dryer after I offered and paid over asking price for the property. I didn’t want to drag this out with the attorneys over a washer and dryer and pettiness of this agent and the company he represents is horrible and I just wanted this over. I showed up after I bought the home and he had someone go there during my closing and change the locks and remove things off the property. Left my family literally in the rain after we purchased this home. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but this was totally unprofessional, uncalled for and unethical. I will be sharing this in the construction and real estate circles as I am heavily involved. I have already found shotty work and y’all couldn’t even have the house cleaned up, to worried about petty games I guess. Big small world. I HIGHLY suggest you DO NOT get involved with this agent and company including Triumph Realty which he represents as well.

Cooperating agents and clients alike,My experience with Cassie and COVA Home Realty was nothing short of embarrassing and unprofessional. Beware when choosing a brokerage and agent in this real estate market, and here’s why.A client of mine (family) was relocating to a military base and was looking to purchase his first home. Cassie came recommended by an agent familiar with the area, so I proceeded to help him get completely pre approved prior to wasting anyone’s time, and once he was ready to go I gave Cassie a call. From the first call it was explained this would be a referral and as customary a referral fee would be paid at closing; this conversation was had and agreed upon on more than 3 occasions. Fast forward to closing and Cassie decides she is no longer paying the referral. Her Broker, Randy Tappen, was even more unprofessional and an embarrassing excuse for a cooperating broker.So what does all this mean? It means if you are considering COVA Home Realty to represent you, ask yourself if they would act this way to steal $1500, what would they do to secure your $10,000?

I just cannot speak highly enough of Cassandra Hansen and CoVA home realty.After losing a family member we decided to sell the family home. Obviously no one comes to this decision lightly and I'm convinced without the gentle and professional touch that Cassie brought we wouldn't have had the smooth transaction we ended up with.I've recommend her to everyone I know and I've only ever heard positive things about her. I can't imagine using anyone else.CoVA itself is the epitome of professionalism with the added bonus of being veteran owned and operated I wouldn't use anyone else.

We had a wonderful experience with Randy Tappen and Cassie Hansen during our search for a home. They understood our needs as a family and went above and beyond to make sure we received the attention to detail we needed to make sure the home buying process was smooth and we understood what was needed from the home search to the closing table. We will definitely use them again when it's time to sell.
