Fantastic stay. In no particular order - Beautiful views from the balcony with convenient beach access, and a foot wash station. The room was cozy and clean. With so many guests, I truly was surprised at how quiet my experience was. I got a good nights rest each night and woke up refreshed to a complimentary hot breakfast. The staff was so very accommodating and kind to us. I can’t stress this enough. Just outside the front of the hotel are eateries, frozen custard and ice cream, and all the things you would need to purchase for a fun beach day. If you want to take a dolphin tour, you can do that with just a 4 minute drive down the road. There were street performers and families hanging out along the main streets…I genuinely enjoyed my short stay here and plan to visit again soon. Sorry guys, I do not plan to share this secret with my friends.**Final note - it’s not the Ritz Carlton. It’s an old beachy hotel, right. So, come with good vibes, a relaxed attitude, and embrace the experience. Or, pay a couple more hundred a night for a more luxury experience.

Very unclean nothing full in any dispensers need better bathrooms vould do more on balcony liked that but u should be to sleep with balcony doors open to sleep inany hotel on

Absolutely, a great, safe, clean, family-friendly hotel. The staff was awesome. Around the clock, free tea and coffee were awesome, and the locked key entrances were great. My only issue was that the parking lot has a height restriction, I forgot the exact height, but I think around 6'6" or 6'8", please call to verify. Access to the beach and view was nice too. Again, though.... THE STAFF!!! Loved how helpful everyone was from kitchen, cleaning, maintenance, to front desk, ALL WERE SO AWESOME

Nice hotel. Room was very clean and a good size. Location on the beach is great. Has a pool in the lobby and the free breakfast was excellent.Not certain it's worth the extra money compared to other hotels in the area.

Great little spot in the heart of VB. Love that all rooms faced the ocean. The little bit of separation between the rooms with 2 King beds was great for our family with 2 teens. You could easily have 2 couples sharing, though only one would get beach view. Nice balcony with 2 plastic chairs and a small table. We easily fit 4 out there with our folding chairs. Bathroom was a but dated, but lots of counter space and a tub/shower combo. They have small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. Shower and bath ceiling height was a bit low, but I could wash my hair without constantly hitting it. Beds were comfortable and I'm pretty picky. Breakfast was better than many places, changed daily. Our favorite day they had lovely breakfast sandwiches on some of the best biscuits ever. Great breakfast employees, too.Pool was average sized, hot tub was tiny, but at least they had one! You can't really see much of the ocean from pool area. Overall, great value for our stay. Glad we chose here.Rooms: Room 703 was great, higher would probably be better hereWalkability: Very walkable area, right on beach and boardwalk. Good sidewalks along neighboring streets

I am not the type of person to do this and this is the first bad review I have ever written. But I think this deserves to be know. So it may save someone else.I saved up for a year to be able to afford to take my son on a nice mini vacation, the hotel itself was great, but I paid for the room online. When I got in they asked for a credit card for incidents, which I understand. I told the lady behind the counter that I had already paid for the stay online, not to charge that card for anything else. After I checked out 3 days later they decided to charge the card I had to put on file, for the entire stay. They over drafted that account, and took all my money. Now I’m having to pay over draft fees, and have no money to feed my child. Nor put gas in my car to get to work. I called they said they would refund the money but it may take up to two weeks. I have a called to speak to a manager more than four times, every time they tell me he is not in or he has left for the day. Frontdesk staff just says you can leave him a voicemail. THEY ALSO DID THE SAME THING TO MY BROTHER WHO ALSO STAYED IN THE HOTEL THE SAME WEEKEND! BEWARE STAYING HERE!! They apparently don’t care that they stole my money nor do they want to make it right. They even had enough nerve to call me and ask me to take video call survey about my online booking experience.

My family and I stayed last weekend and we were thrilled by this hotel! The rooms were spacious and clean! We had a room with 2 queens and my parents had one with a king and pull out bed- both were great! The staff were awesome. It sat right on 21st street so there were many shops and restaurants near by! The breakfast provided was great and I loved how some of the menu rotated daily! The pool was pretty warm which I appreciated since it was my baby’s first time ever in a pool! The parking garage was easy and simple to get in and out of. Butttt the big take away for me were the bed and the pillows…. They were perfect. I always complain about one or the other but not here! I slept better than I do at home! We will def be back when we visit va beach!Nearby activities: There were many shops and restaurants right across the street.

My first time here, was fantastic. Very close to the beach,walking,food.Rooms: Clean,great view from the balcony, very roomy lots of space.Nearby activities: Close to shops,food,anything you want or need.Safety: Safety to everyone.

Stayed at Coastal Hotel & Suites Virginia Beach for the first time 5/7/24-5/9/24. Stayed in a room with two KING SIZED beds, and it was wonderful. Beds were very comfortable, each "room" had its own TV, so it felt like we had privacy if we needed it. Shower was amazing with its dual showerheads... I almost didn't want to get out. Also our room had a balcony looking right out into the beach. Complimentary breakfast downstairs every morning, with all the fixings (and then some): make your own waffle/mini pancakes, eggs, breakfast meat, cereal, bagels, pastries, coffee and juice. The staff at breakfast went above and beyond, they would take your plates when you finished eating, let you know what tomorrows breakfast would be, and even chitchat about the area and attractions near the hotel. Every single person we met at this hotel was super nice, made you feel right at home... Like they genuinely can't wait to see you again. I can't say enough about this hotel. We had previously stayed at another hotel on the boardwalk, but after staying at Coastal Hotel & Suites, I don't think we can stay anywhere else moving forward. 5 stars all around... If I could give it more than that, I would.

The location of this hotel is AMAZING! It is located in the center of the boardwalk, you are in walking distance of shops, activities and restaurants.All of their hotel rooms / suites have oceanfront views. The views are simply breathtaking!The hotel itself is very clean, rooms are spacious, definitely large enough for those traveling with their family.The pool and hot tub area were very clean (water is warm, which is a huge plus). Housekeeping staff (Laura) was very attentive and kind.Beds were more on the firmer side than I would have liked, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. This is just something to note for those who may have back issues.The breakfast bar was a great addition each morning. They offer hot and cold items. There's definitely enough options for you to choose from.While the entire staff at this hotel were amazing, there was one particular lady who simply won my families heart, her name is Ms. Bonnie. Ms. Bonnie works in the dining area, and she was such a huge help with my daughters during breakfast.Her customer service is beyond phenomenal!!! We thank Ms. Bonnie for helping start our day off with a beautiful smile and ease.It's safe to say that we will definitely choose Coastal Hotel & Suites for our next VA Beach trip.Rooms: Rooms are spacious.Microwave & mini fridge provided.All rooms have balcony access.Nearby activities: The hotel is centrally located on the boardwalk. You are within walking distance of arcades, mini golf, iFly, restaurants, souvenir shops, and so much more.Safety: The key card is needed to enter the hotel from the boardwalk and parking garage.Walkability: Access to the boardwalk as well as Atlantic Ave are accessible.Food & drinks: Free breakfast is served each morning between 7:30-9:30

Visited during our spring break and had a great experience. The oceanfront views from balcony were amazing!! Breakfast bar was 10/10 each morning. Our suite was cozy, clean and enough space for our family of 4. Staff was friendly and hospitable. The hotel location was the icing on the cake...you're right in the middle of the strip from front entrance and boardwalk/beach in rear. The heated pool was great esp since the ocean was ice cold during our stay. We will def be back in the summertime!! ?

My husband surprised me with a trip to the beach and with a VIP suite here. The suite is beautiful! The view is breathtaking. The bed was on the harder side, but do able. The staff is very friendly. Great access to the beach. We will be back!
