After reading reviews I still gave them a chance. Wanted tires installed for which they were going to charge $70 per tire, yes, $70! The only reason I went because of convenience and needing it done. Well thankfully they didn’t do the job, and I made an appointment by the way to get it done. So, I got my truck back and it had a small dent in the rear side fender. Of course they denied it. Terrible. Ripping people off and don’t care about the safety of your vehicle.

Don’t waste your time with inspections here. They’re great mechanics and all but the process is undependable and chaotic.
They say bring the car in after 3pm the day prior but don’t tell you it fills up almost immediately so unless you’re at the counter at 3 on the dot, you won’t get inspected the next day.
Anyway, with only being told the “drop off after 3” policy, I went as soon as my kid got home and couldn’t find anywhere to park. Finally parked good enough and the door was locked. Went back to the car and waited 10 minutes and finally saw the door open for someone else.
This is when, after a 6 mile drive, looking for a space and being locked out for 10 minutes that I was told there were no spots left for the next day. I took off for that day because I would be without a car and, had I been told the spots fill up quickly, I would have gotten there at 2:50 and walked home or something or even hook up my bike to the back and ride home. Nope, 12 gallons in gas, 25 minutes of my life and a days pay’s gone because of not getting all the information up front.
Years after coming here, we will never return now. What changed? I can’t believe I’m actually going to have to go back to the dealership after all these years.

It's a shame that the new owners have turned Great Neck Citgo into such a poorly run business. I was a customer there since I owned my first car nearly 40 years ago. I won't even buy gas there now. The lady that works in the front is one of the rudest people in the business. They need to hire GI again so they have someone who knows how to treat customers.

Been going here for a long time. But as others have said the woman up front is the rudest person I've dealt with in a long time. Told my wife the wrong information and then just yelled at us when we arrived. We will not be going back until the owners address her attitude with paying customers.

It's sad that I grew up right next to this place and we always used to take our cars here, and now with new people working it's gone so downhill that twice they misquoted my family by over $500!
We go to 757 Automotive! Dustin and Mike are the best on Arrowhead Drive and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I only gave one star because there was nothing there for zero. I have been coming to this gas station since 1988. I will never go back there again and I hope nobody else does. The mechanic quoted me $700 for labor I went to another place and it was $132. That's a difference of $568. I was told the entire dashboard had to come off and it was going to be very tedious he also said he would have to do it little by little. I went to tire Express on Holland road they did the whole job in 2 hours did not have to take the dashboard out. And only charged me $132. This gas station is not the same as it was when GI used to work there. When I told my daughter she told me that they tried to rip her off and her stepson. I was told my stepson car the engine head locked up because he didn't put oil in the car and that's not true he just needed some sort of filter. I'm not even going to go there to get gas anymore.

Only gave one star because I could not give 0 stars. This place is terrible and I will never do business with them again. I brought my truck there for state inspection and it failed due to a couple of marker lights being out. I brought the truck home, replaced all the items so that the truck would pass. Upon completion I returned to the shop 3 times in attempt for them to re-inspect. Each time they told the they did not have time to do it. And you cannot make an appointment. Today after much attitude from the female up front, they got it done. The headlights needed adjustment which I was originally quoted $15 for. Once the vehicle was ready for pick up, I went inside to close out the ticket. They charged me $25 for the headlight adjustment and a full $20 for a reinspection because it was outside of 15 days which explains why they kept turning me away for reinspection for the first two weeks. Save yourself some trouble and find another place for your car needs.

Car was over heating pulled into Citgo. Not one technician wanted to help. No interest in helping me what so ever. Thanks guys. Will not go there again or recommend.

We have utilized their services for 10 plus years. Recently the staff they hire to man the front desk are rude and unprofessional. It has become very difficult to get our vehicles inspected. We were dropping off vehicles and I was parked in front of the door for under 2 minutes trying to coordinate dropping off a vehicle.They could not accommodate us, eventhough we called in advance. The person was unnecessarily rude about where I was parked, again under 2 minutes, and impedeing no other customers.This was a follow-up from what happened 2 days prior, the cashier did not like where we parked the car being dropped off, then changed her mind, but we did not feel comfortable and left. Bottom line, we went across the street to AAA with no issue. We will not be back.

Called about State Inspection and was told to bring my car in at 3pm to get a first come first served inspection the next day. I show up at 2:45 and get told they are already all booked up for the rest of the week for state inspections.
