Michael is the absolute best! I did not have much luck in the Hampton roads area with stylists and now Michael is the ONLY person I will go to! He is fantastic at listening to what you want and steering you in the right direction! I absolutely love how this blonde looks on me and always feel fantastic after seeing him! Michael is an absolute hair magician!! I came in with chocolate brown hair and gave him a challenging task....make it platinum blonde, AGAIN.
Any of my blonde girls know, thats no easy task - especially without completely damaging the hair! HOWEVER COMMA Michael made it happen. I'm back platinum and it looks AMAZING!
Michael tells you the truth on what to expect and the process, no playing games or blowing smoke to get business. His presence is very calming and makes you feel comfortable with great conversation.

I have been receiving amazing hair care from Heather Dozier for 12 years. I have extremely thick hair with a lot of character. Stylists have always said I have more hair than any of their other clients. I have weekly blow outs, quarterly Keratin treatments, and monthly cut and color services. My hair had been extremely damaged by another stylist, Heather got it to the best condition and look I had ever had before. My straw like hair is luxurious and full of shine. I receive compliments all the time. If you have difficult hair HEATHER is the BEST!!! She is the owner of the beautiful Platinum Salon, beautifully appointed and she has an amazing group of women who work together while she trains newer stylists. The salon has an upbeat vibe serving all age groups. It feels like family and close friends enjoying their time together!

I went and got a haircut by Michael Joseph. I didn't know your hair could look completely different with just a cut. My hair looks absolutely incredible. I've received so many compliments. I absolutely cannot wait to go back and see what he does with the color!
I went back and got my hair dyed. With exceeded my expectations! My hair looks absolutely stunning. I've had so many people ask where I get it done! And my hair is pretty thick I usually am in the foru 6-8 hours. Michael Joseph got me out in under five and it is the best color I've ever had. Will definitely be going only to him!

There are approximately 600,000 words in the English language, and Michael still managed to leave me speechless with his absolute transformation of my hair. I had about a year of new growth over old, yellowed heavy highlights. Michael managed to meticulously transform my hair strand by strand, turning into an effortless looking balayage with no lines.
Will I go return? Absolutely. Will I even consider going to any other stylist in the Hampton Roads area? Absolutely not. Will I be that annoying girl who constantly tells people they should go to “her stylist”. You betcha I will be.

I have gone to Michael several times now and he NEVER disappoints. Whether I want a blonde balayage or a complete color change, he always exceeds my expectations with quality results. Where to even start! I had an appointment with Michael and it was everything I was hoping for. When you are a blonde, having a good blonde specialist is imperative! Michael knows what he is doing. I spoke with him on what I wanted, shared photos, and collaborated on ideas and he surely delivered. Be sure to check him out if you are looking for a specialist that knows their stuff!
