We recently had work done on our mini copper, and was “window shopping” not expecting to purchase anything when Vicki approached us. We test drove an our mini countryman, and loved it. We tried to work a deal but it didn’t work out that day. We came back after moving around a few things, we were able to lease. We sought out Vicki to help us with the sale. She was amazing, we were about to leave on our anniversary trip, and we were able to make a deposit to save it for when we returned. Outstanding customer service ❤️

Our visits to the Virginia Beach Checkered Flag MINI Dealership working with Vicki Sexton were extraordinary. She tackled every task with energy and competency. She even sent us a video of a 2025 Mini Countryman that she thought we would like. We purchased it! Kudos to Vicki and Checkered Flag MINI!

This is our second Mini we’ve owned and I will say Jacob is the best Salesman we’ve ever encounter. While buying our Mini, we met several customers from Richmond and they shared to us, they pass several dealerships, even the one in their city to buy from Jacob. Just purchased my first Mini Cooper Clubman and the sale experience was incredible. Vicki Sexton was the sales associate that I dealt with and she actually came in on her day off to help me close the sale and trade in of my vehicle. She was very professional in her approach and If you’re thinking of purchasing a Mini I highly recommend that you go see Vicki!

Everybody in here is great, all smiles, real personable. My salesperson was Vicki, she helped put me in a car I wanted, never pushed for anything I wasn't comfortable with, and was just an overall pleasure to work with.

Beware! They only have a high rating because most of the reviews are only from people buying cars. Wait until they have to have their Mini serviced at this dumpster fire dealership. You’ll wish you never bought a Mini after having service work done here. Worst service department. Wouldn't recommend buying a Mini because of their service department.
Update: Lease up! Turned in my Mini and got a different vehicle from another dealership. I love Minis but will never lease or purchase another one as long as Checkered Flag is the only option. They have the only Mini service department from here to Richmond.

I’ve been buying from Checkered Flag Mini for several years now (my 2025 Countryman is my third new custom built Mini ordered from this dealership). The only bad part of the experience was waiting for my custom build to make it here! The anticipation ran wild. Once it got here, Vicki made sure that it was ready as soon as possible and took care of me, making sure that everything was right and that I was comfortable with my new Countryman. Vicki helped order my first Mini in 2018 and it’s so nice that she’s back! =)

Vicky was wonderful when I purchased my new to me 2018 CRV this past Friday...she went above regular service by scheduling to have a small blemish fixed. Also a shout out to Chris Lewis for his outstanding response to all my questions...wonderful experience all around by Checkered Flag Mini!!!

I loved my mini buying experience at checkered flag mini. Vicki greeted us when we walked in, she was knowledge and friendly. She took the time to go over all the features and we test drove 2 minis. We purchased one that was newly traded in and hadn't been through their shop which made me nervous, but when we came to pick it up I was overjoyed. They did a great job getting it ready. It looks and drives great. I couldn't be happier.

This dealer sucks, I had an appointment for an oil change, I arrived early for my appointment at noon and was told they could not do oil change until next day. Why did I make an appointment then??? I live 100 miles away, planned day around prepaid oil change. This dealer sucks!!!! Why does it take more than 5 hours to do a simple oil change?
