I reallllly had to soul-search before doing this review. I love going to Virginia Beach and cherish every time I go. But this experience was so different for me.
First, let me say that if you want to feel like you are getting first-class service from staff, THIS IS a GOLD STANDARD. These ladies are the best. I've only gotten better outside of the US. I want to package their customer service and sell it!
That said, this hotel BLOWS. Don't go there. I will include pics. There were so many things falling apart or moldy. I slept with one eye open because of the first spider we killed where my baby was going to sleep and all the other webs we found. We spent too much money to go through this much crap. The beds were paper thin and almost like a pullout couch. But they advertise as a sort of resort. Well... don't resort to going here! The pool was ultra small and in an odd location, but ok, not too bad. Great location, right off the beach. I am from a beach town, so I know about saltwater erosion, BUT when you see these bathroom pics, they look like an apartment bathroom. The web pics didn't come out great, so I did not add them, but please spare yourself.

Overall, a solidly above-average hotel to help soak in the wonderful views of the beach (of which I saw a huge whale just right off our 2nd floor balcony, out on the horizon), and be entrenched in events and goings-ons of both the Strip and the Boardwalk. Our room had a jacuzzi, which is always a plus, the hotel had a quaint indoor pool (of which the fam and I enjoyed), and the staff was courteous and accomodating. The only reason I am not giving this place a full 5 star is because SURELY there are better hotels out there, so I am holding out on that perfect score when I find such a place.
Either way, great stay, fun time!
Safety: Never felt unsafe nor unwanted in or around the hotel. If anything, I ended up talking to the front desk clerk for an hour about random stuff, and later in the evening, I hung out with some random, chill dude I met in front of the hotel.

Great beachfront hotel. An older facility that's been well maintained . Some stains on the furniture, evidence of a ceiling patch or two, but overall just fine. Large TV, comfortable bedding. Would return

This was a great place to stay and affordable. Everyone was very nice. Crystal was awesome she was my morning buddy ? when I came down early in the morning. She gave me clear directions to get my morning coffee. She was very pleasant and always had a smile on her face. I really loved the hot tub and balcony view. My significant other was very pleased as well.
Rooms: The bathroom is very small but the rest of the room had enough space and the bed was comfortable.
Walkability: The boardwalk was very enjoyable. There all kinds of restaurants, souvenir shops and ice cream shops in walking distance.

Great place to stay on the ocean. The restaurant/ bar was amazing! Great food and service. Family owned.

Great staff and service! Clean beds and towels. The hotel is very dated though. Bathroom fan is not working. Room phone is not working

The pool in August is 104 degrees. A heated pool and it's 100 degrees outside. Find another hotel if you wanted a nice indoor pool in the summer.

Great people, great location. Staff very helpful. Grandson dropped pacifier off 7th floor balcony. Front desk let us in unoccupied room on bottom floor to look for it. Didn't find it but she was very helpful. Another staff member let my daughter use an umbrella stroller for another grandchild for our stay. Will definitely return

Stayed there during spring break and it was very comfortable. Although the room wasn't completely updated, it had enough space, cozy beds, and a nice view. The staff was always friendly to us whenever we requested extra pillows or towels. Would definitely recommend for good bang for your buck.

Be careful, I did a reservation and they decide to keep my money just because they’re policies says that can’t refund online reservations, that’s so unprofessional.

The staff is the worst, my husband was trying to talk to the person who takes the reservations, she was rude, she told us that we didn't understand English just because they didn't have rooms available, and we already had the reservation in hand, we tried to solve the problem and she was with that bad attitude.
