Highly recommended. Outstanding facility. When I was having a bit of trouble renting a space on-line at the Virginia Beach Centerville Rd location the manager, Matt, called me and took care of everything. Sign-up, move-in, payments, move-out and closure all went so exceptionally smooth.

Storage is clean, easy to reserve, affordable and no hidden fees. Matt is by far the most thorough, organized, professional and exceptional at customer service and exceeds all expectations. I will not go elsewhere.

Wish I could give them -5 stars. This was by far the worst decision I made going with this storage facility. About 2 weeks after I moved in my unit was robbed. Of course I filed an insurance claim and that's when things really went bad. They used a confirmed fraudulent, scam website as a reference point for pricing when it came to my high end items. This site offers high end clothing and shoes at a insanely low price just to get consumers credit/debit card information and never ship you anything. What reputable company would treat a customer like this after having their belongings stolen? I'm starting to think that this was an inside job involving the manager and the insurance company. I was told I could not speak with a manager for week however the rep I am working with received helped from a manager today regarding additional information about the claim but I have to wait a week to speak with a manager? Sounds like a scam. Do not trust this company despite the managers demeanor.

Was pleasantly surprised, super clean, manager was friendly, straightforward and professional. Best of all, although they have a dozen locations, they are locally owned and operated. Told they only do price increases on annual renewal. Life Storage, now bought by Extra Storage, raised rates every few months. They had just raised my rate for the 3rd time in 12 month when Extra Storage bought them 2 months ago and immediately raised the rate another 40%. Time will tell, but American Classic Storage's prices seemed fair and knowing that they only due rate increase annually is a great selling point!
