I want everyone to listen closely to what happened to me. I was referred to All About Auto from a friend who prior to his referral had no problem with this Auto Shop. I went there with my 2009 Mini Clubman because when it got hot it would cut off after running for about 10 minutes or more. The day I took it to his shop it had no problem. He diagnosed it as a Head Gasket job. My insurance paid for it and I had a $100 deductible. The job took almost 30 days, I was furious! When I went to check on my car my total was over $300. I asked Billy why? He said "The warranty company doesn't pay for things like coolant." I said, "Yes, they do!" So I called and the warranty company said, "They never added these things in the estimate (we cover that), they said! (Red Flag) Charging me for what my warranty company pays for. (Fraudulent practices) When I finally picked up my car he had broken my Hood latch, it was zip tied, told me my Serpentine Belt was dry rotted. The warranty company say he never told them that. I told him not to touch it! I have the same Belt on my car now with No Problem. He told me I needed new plugs and coil paks. I had just put both sets in and they were under warranty. I told him not to touch them but when I picked up my car he still changed 1 plug and 1 coil pak. He went against my authority. He left pertinent screws from my main frame, wires were just shoved down against the side of the frame, left the clamp off my lower radiator hose under my car and zip tied that as well! He backed out my freon and never put it back in so I had to pay to get my air conditioner re-serviced and he refused to pay for it. Did he resale my Freon? So, if I wouldn't have went behind his work I would be out back with all the parts he broke. He added prices to my total that the warranty company covered, so I had to resolve and correct prices he charged me for simple things like antifreeze... Oh! My under cover was missing as well so Please! BEWARE! This is not a place to take your vehicle because his mechanics either don't care about their work or they are very inexperienced! Save yourself some time and money because when I got my car back it was still doing the same thing (Cutting off when it got hot). What solved the problem something as simple as a Crank Position Sensor. It took 3 months for Billy to replace most of the broken parts his Company broke. I am very disappointed with the Repair work, the Service I received and Nothing was offered for my Gas for continuing to bring my car back to correct all the things this shop broke. He still refuses to pay for my Freon he sucked into his tank and Never, put back into my Car. Now, I wonder if my car ever needed a Head Gasket or did He just make $2000??? The friend who referred me was so pissed he wanted to go up there and deal with Billy but I told him, "The God I serve sees everything and He will repay Billy for what He has done!" Please People, Find a Reputable Repair Shop that will do quality work because I am like some of the other people who wrote reviews, "I will Never again put my Coop through his Loop!"

They didn’t fix my vehicle and my check engine light still on. They just reset my engine light. I had to take my other car some where else. They went through 3 technicians. I just fixed it myself

UNBELIEVABLY the most HONEST and FAIR auto repair in all Hampton Roads!!! Quoted a price over the phone for brake pads and new rotors, which was the best price I got from 7+ calls. To my surprise, they told me they could do it the next day and I could wait if I
wanted. Not only were they going to do the break job, they had a used tire that I had been hunting down for a week and were going to put it on and rotate all tires (thats how I found them ). I went the next morning and when I received the bill it was $200 LESS! Said the rotors were fine, didn't need replacing. SERIOUSLY, not used to hearing that. Also, checked back drums said they also were ingood shape! I am over the moon. No more dreading calling around when my vehicles are misbehaving. They are on my contract list.

Don’t do it. We brought our vehicle here on June 26. Today is July 18. Let’s start here. Our vehicle never got fixed. We are very reasonable and patient when it comes to the work of others. However, when you get the run around over and over again, that’s when it’s not cool. We got our vehicle towed here for work on June 26. They did a diagnostic testing. About a WEEK later, it’s known the vehicle needs a specific part. Okay. We wait on the part, we are a family of 6 with four children. Still, we were so patient for too long. Finally on Thursday, he said the vehicle would be ready to go at x time. Good finally. So we send the payment in a few days later because it was NOT, and still was not ready after the payment. This was around $928 to be exact. Friday came, he said it would be ready that day. Nope. The weekend came. Monday came, I called and he said they ordered the wrong part and the new part was on its way about 130 miles away and would be done by that evening. Give or take on these days but no exaggeration on time, it’s been this long. Really. That evening came, part wasn’t there apparently and that day left. Tuesday came, part was then supposed to be shipped there overnight or something Monday. He said it would be ready. Finally Wednesday came. My family had enough and went up there once again to see what was going on. Still not ready. By the time my stepmother had enough and actually went up there rightfully if she went off. I don’t blame her at this point. Husband left late that day, still guy said something else needed to be done.
Car not finished. Just had to get a refund and go elsewhere. It was a waste of time and headache day by day. I don’t even think they know what they’re doing. Waited June 26- July 18. Almost a whole month of no vehicle. To the woman in the office who had the audacity to say “At least he was honest” yesterday evening. Please. They’ve been dishonest and giving us the run around for almost a month, you’re kidding. If it were you giving someone almost a grand and they keep coming up with excuses everyday and saying it’ll be ready and it’s not. How would you feel? What would you do? Take it elsewhere. Eventually. Exactly.
There is no point in calling up there. You get the run around, or either no one answers, you go up there.. you still get the run around just hanging on trying to wait til it’s just enough.
Waste of time and money. I wouldn’t take my vehicle here for a simple flat tire and depend on it or I’d think at least it would sit there for a few days first.
Anyways, we are taking our vehicle elsewhere because this is absolutely absurd.
If you have too many vehicles to where you don’t have the correct time or resources to work on the other ones or don’t know what you are doing …. Just say that instead of giving people the run around.
Stepmother said phone was ringing like crazy in there and they’re just looking at it half the time doing nothing but paying attention basically to what calls not to answer. What does this experience tell you?
If you wanna be lied to a lot of given the run around… come to this place. If you want to be without a vehicle for a long time and get excuse after excuse… spend your hard earned money here! We had been more than patient all this time. Not anymore.
Looking forward to taking our vehicle to the correct place.

This cookie was found underneath my hood after service was done to it YES UNDERNEATH! One of the mechanics was eating on my car while working on it this is ridiculous and highly acceptable and I will not be bringing my car here to get serviced again because this is could have damaged my car as well.

This is the mechanic shop you have always wanted. Billy is the owner and driving force. He is honest and has a desire to be helpful. I have been driving in Virginia Beach since 1976. I had tried many mechanics without finding a dedicated, reasonably priced one until Billy opened his first shop as a young man in the early 90s. (Approximately) Since finding him, I have taken him all my mechanic problems. He has a 100% success rate and his prices are about half what you pay anywhere else.

You won't find a better shop. They are always cheaper than anyone else. Every single time! Like not even close. One shop quoted my $379 to change my brakes. They got me for $75. I needed a new engine when my blew a piston through the head. I was quoted $6400. They got me for $2800 and warrantied the work. There is literally no need to go anywhere else. Well, unless you need a state inspection. Whoever you go to for inspection get a quote for your needed repairs and bring it to All about you will save a ton. They also do pre-inspections so you can fix any issues before getting inspected. I've been coming to them since I was 16. It's been 17 years now.
