The older white guy behind the counter is extremely rude, I’ll go to Sheetz from now on - much better experience. Guy is lucky my husband wasn’t with me.

David is very nice! I’ve been served by him before and he was nothing but kind. There are plenty of rude customers who act like they’re always right and you’re supposed to do whatever they demand.About 6 months ago, I came in here and had a conversation with an employee for probably 45 minutes about what they’d experienced during their shift, how their boss treated them, etc. They said they really needed someone to talk to because they feel they can’t do anything right and they feel everyone treats them like dirt. They hugged me and told me they really appreciate me. You never know what someone is going through. The people at this E Washington Shell go through a lot!

I frequent this store almost every weekday for breakfast and other items. Second day in a row I don't get acknowledged while waiting for breakfast, this time I'm next to be waited on and for some reason get passed over to wait on 2 people behind me. While I am waiting I do the math and I spend a minimum of 2k a year here. Pay attention to your regular good customers ... and say good bye to my 2k cause I'm going to spend where I am appreciated.

Where to start with how much of a let down this order was. We ordered the catfish dinner with 2 sides and a drink and an order of the Cream Chipped Beef…. Oddly enough it all looked a lot better than it tasted despite the fact that it was obvious upon sight that the ~ahem~ “turnip” greens were canned greens and not even the good Margaret Holmes or Glory kind of canned, just plain old greens, they had no seasoning whatsoever, not even like butter or garlic salt. Where to start with how much of a let down this order was. - We ordered the catfish dinner with 2 sides and a drink and an order of the Cream Chipped Beef.... Oddly enough it all looked a lot better than it tasted despite the fact that it was obvious upon sight that the ~ahem~ "turnip" greens were canned greens and not even the good Margaret Holmes or Glory kind of canned, just plain old greens, they had no seasoning whatsoever, not even like butter or garlic salt. Mac and Cheese was equally as tasteless and had an odd texture - it's possible the elbow noodles were over cooked. My 18 year old son said the Cream Chipped Beef we get out of the freezer section at the grocery store was way better than what he had from Nishi Food Mart 8. I asked for it to be served over toast and they put it on a biscuit instead. So much Ice in the large 32oz cup I doubt there was a 12oz in the cup. Only saving grace was the fact that the Catfish was pretty good and it's the only reason this eatery is getting at least 2 stars. Because this is definitely the kind of food where you eat just enough to not be hungry anymore and throw the rest away.

This shell in Vinton. They have a Taco Bell and Pizza Hut along with a small kitchen that features a solid breakfast every morning. The staff is friendly and the place is pretty clean. They have some local grown season produce in the stands outside.

I have been going to this specific store for many years because it is located close to my house. I have probably spent several thousand dollars at this store over the years. I have a severe anxiety disorder and often wear a hoodie with the hood up because it makes me feel more comfortable in public. This has never once been an issue until tonight when I walked in and was abruptly ordered by the woman behind the counter to remove my hood. I turned to her and said "Seriously?" and she replied "Yes, no hoods in the store because of the cameras" so I just said screw it and walked out.
