I have been shopping Kroger, Hardy Road, Vinton Va for over 40 years. I am mostly pleased with the store & layout except the rest rooms. The Ladies Room has smelled like a cesspool the last 5 times I was in there which was in the early morning. They had just cleaned because the floor was wet. Come on Kroger, I know your better than that.............clean up your act.

Zoe was incredibly rude during check out, slamming our items angrily, "huffing and puffing" at me. Bagger was incredibly friendly. I'm sorry but I'm just buying my groceries don't be catching no attitude with me when I was nothing but polite. Store was clean and organized. 5 out 5 stars for the store itself.

This is a very nice Kroger and so spacious! It is just as nice as the one at Westlake, but merchandise seems a little less plentiful. Aisles are wide and everything seemed neat. The environment seemed relaxed. There were at least 4 cashiers working and no real long lines. Customer service desk was very attentive and caring. Everyone I talked to was friendly and tried to help. I plan to shop more here when I am in the area.

Worst experience ever! I do not recommend placing an order online through Kroger's. I ordered 51 items and was charged full cost of the 51 items, tip, and delivery charge, and i only received 29 items out of the 51 items, most of the items were incorrect, and i can't even use. I called Kroger's and they could not help me, they sent me to a 3rd party delivery service and they could not help either. Beware they will take your money. Calling the Better Business Bureau.

So, you limited the hours & put toilet paper out for 7 a.m. arrival. My husband was just there at 7 a.m. There were people filling their baskets with toilet paper and when he proceeded to tell a store employee he said he has no authority. No one at the doors to monitor this??????? Hire some Vets to monitor this. Disappointed in Kroger. You started too late and your not monitoring this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

This is the messiest and most chaotic Kroger in Roanoke. Today, empty boxes were lying on top of items in the horizontal frozen food cases and pallets full of boxes blocked aisles and the shelves so you couldn't see items on the shelf. Canned goods were still in boxes sitting on the shelves so you couldn't get to them easily, or even know what was inside them. The deli is the most inefficient one I've been to in Roanoke. Almost every time I'm at the counter, the slicers are being cleaned, and I have to wait and wait for a simple order. Yes, this store has a wider variety of goods than the other Kroger stores, but it's not worth the frustration. And who in the world goes to the grocery store to sit at a bar to drink beer and watch TV? Sad. This was my last day of doing my weekly shopping here.

Dont go in the evening. They staff down so much they force you to do self checkout. Not even a single register open and when I asked at customer service I was told I had to use self checkout no other choice. I have a full-time job and do not want to work at Kroger...especially for free.
