I went to cash a check and the lady with blonde hair at the drive through window was rude. She would not help me with what I needed and was very mean about it. Even said thank you after she was being snarky and she just ignored it. Won’t be ever going to this one again. I’ve never had a problem with any other Carter bank very disappointed!!!!!

THIS VINTON BRANCH OF CB&T IS BY FAR THE WORST BRANCH THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS IN MY 30+ YRS OF BANKING ON & OFF WITH THEM OVER THE YRS. THIS BRANCH NEEDS A REFRESHER COURSE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.WE BROUGHT OUR 2 EXCITED KIDS TO AN EMPTY BANK ON A SATURDAY MORNING AT 9:30AM TO LET THEM OPEN THEIR OWN SAVINGS ACCT. WE WERE TOLD..SORRY BUT NO, WE WOULD NEED TO MAKE AN APPT & SHE ALREADY HAD 2 OTHER APPTS THAT DAY!! WE COULD COME BACK ON MONDAY!! REMIND YOU..EMPTY BANK!WE TOLD HER THAT WE CANT DURING THE WEEK, WE WORK & THEY ARE IN SCHOOL. THATS WHAT WEEKENDS ARE FOR!2 VERY DISAPPOINTED KIDS WALKED AWAY WITH THEIR HEADS DOWN & LONG FACES. THEY LOOKED FORWARD TO THIS ALL WEEK.*SOOO, WE CALLED ANOTHER BRANCH, ABOUT 5 MINS DOWN THE ROAD & SHE WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE US IN, WITH NO APPT NECESSARY. EXCITED TO HEAR FROM US & WAS WONDERFUL WITH THE KIDS. WE WERE IN & OUT, IN ABOUT 30-35 MINS TO OPEN 2 KIDS SAVINGS ACCTS.*VINTON BRANCH-NOT EVEN CLOSE! YOU COULD TAKE SOME LESSONS FROM THE STAFF, JENNIFER & MANAGEMENT AT THE ROANOKE BRANCH!!*DO BETTER! COVID OR NO COVID. ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR & THINGS ARE OPENING UP & AT THIS POINT THERE IS NO EXCUSE WHAT SO EVER FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE OR SHOULD I SAY, NO SERVICE IN OUR CASE. ITS JUST PURE LAZINESS & TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE COVID & MILKING IT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE! TIME TO GET BACK TO WORK OR MOVE OVER & LET SOMEONE ELSE HAVE YOUR JOB THAT WOULD APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY!!

Called to get help on an old account that showed up on my credit report and was told to call another branch. The woman didn't even take a second of her time to assist me. Pathetic! You're on the clock im sure so do something.
