They’ll open up and steal your mail if have something of value in it and insure it at the front desk. It was stuck at this mail office for over two weeks and then it only took like 2 days to get from there to the destination. And surprise! when it got to the jewelry repair place, there was no ring and there’s a literal tear in the envelope that’s just the perfect size to steal a ring. Crazy. Thankfully I insured it and USPS better provide me with full compensation for it. Would just avoid this facility period.

After reading these reviews I half expected the employees to start hurling rocks at me upon entering the building. Luckily for me my visit was perfectly fine and normal. I went in for a passport appointment and the employees who helped me were polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. No, the red carpet was not laid out before me, but everything that needed to be done got done in a timely manner and there were no rocks thrown. Remember that these USPS employees are civil servants working for a program that is bursting at the seams and experiencing unprecedented levels of understaffing. They serve hundreds of people a day, and due to the human condition, may not be feeling 100% at any given moment to say the least. Anyone who has ever worked retail can relate. A healthy dose of patience, politeness, and compassion will get you far, but some of you may need to hold a baby, or gaze upon the majesty of the stars, or contemplate our minuscule lives within the vastness of the universe before you interact with another postal worker. It’s a hard time out there - be kind to people and life will get easier, I promise.

Jazmine Smith is one of the most rude and unprofessional employees I’ve come across, she has a nasty attitude and seems very entitled. I spoke with the manager on duty regarding her behavior, I will also call to ensure my complaint is fully heard. She need to be fired!

This location used to be great, but had a really bad experience recently. We turned up for a scheduled passport appointment. 5 minutes after it was supposed to start the manager came and said a staff member had an emergency so couldn't do the appointment. She told us to go to Oakton and said she would call ahead and ensure somebody was able to help us there. Sounded fair enough. However, when we arrived there, they were not ready for us (their appointments were already full), they had *not* been called by the manager from our original location. Even better, when other customers in this situation tried to call the original manager to complain, nobody would answer the phone (which I see other reviews have complained about)! The staff at Oakton said that this has happened many times before and they were really unhappy about it.

Employees at this location are helpful. Especially with sending packages to other countries and the forms. They let me know I was just over the weight for the short form.

This passport office closes at three but the guy locks the door at two and refuses to take any walk-ins even though the website says Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday they take walk-ins until 3 o’clock
