Dr. Clifton is an amazing vet and all of the technicians are wonderful people! The whole team has taken such great care of my dogs over the years. They helped me through a difficult time when one of my dogs passed away and showed genuine compassion. They truly care about both the pets and pet parents.* Also, they recently remodeled and it looks great!

Very happy with my experience at Tysons Corner Animal hospital. All of the staff has been more than accommodating. My pup is a very anxious guy and they handled his disposition with such grace and professionalism, I could not be more grateful. My dog and his care are so important to me and I’m so thankful to have found a vet who is so caring and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Clifton is one of a kind. You can tell he truly loves animals and takes pride in his job. His puppy and canine plans are such a steal! I get free vaccinations and check ups for my dogs. My dogs get so excited to see him and his staff! Highly recommend.

We have been bringing our crazy dogs to this vet for about five years. Things are pretty straightforward. I've found the pricing to be really fair, especially for a business located in Tysons Corner. I've never felt like the vet is proposing unnecessary or costly procedures. In my experience, you get what you pay for. They have standards (e.g., if you're late for an appointment, you pay), but wouldn't you? I always feel like 1+1 = 2 here, and that's what I'm looking for.

It is with great dismay and disillusionment that I must share my recent experience at the animal hospital in question, which was characterized by a most deplorable and unwarranted display of disrespect and humiliation. As I attempted to park my vehicle in a designated disabled parking space, as allowed by law by virtue of my possession of a disabled parking permit, I was confronted by an individual who appeared to be either the owner or manager of the establishment. After locking the front door, he proceeded to engage in an entirely inappropriate and offensive dialogue, openly ridiculing those who make use of designated parking spaces without apparent need. He even went so far as to make derogatory comments about my presence in the parking spot, seeking to shame me in front of others who were nearby.Despite my best efforts to explain that I possessed a legally authorized permit, this individual chose to continue his disdainful and contemptuous behavior, going so far as to cast doubt on the veracity of my permit. His remarks were both unfounded and baseless, and were nothing short of an affront to my dignity and sense of self-worth.It is utterly unacceptable that any individual, let alone a purported professional in the field of animal healthcare, should engage in such deplorable conduct. The notion that an individual's need for disabled parking should be called into question based on appearances alone is not only wholly unjustifiable, but also utterly reprehensible.Given the severity and egregiousness of this encounter, I am seriously contemplating the pursuit of legal action against this establishment. It is imperative that businesses uphold the rights and dignities of their clients, and that individuals with disabilities are treated with the utmost respect and understanding. In the interests of preserving the dignity and wellbeing of others, I implore all readers to avoid this animal hospital at all costs, and to seek out alternative providers of animal healthcare. No one should be subjected to such humiliation and disrespect, and it is imperative that we all do our part to prevent such behavior from continuing unchecked.Read the responses to negative reviews. It’ll give you an idea of the level of immaturity and unprofessional behavior you’ll experience here.

The most professional vet in the area for sure!! Dr Clifton and his team are the best. With professional diagnosis, Dr Clifton does what the best doctors do -- not rushing to conclusions but hunting for the root causes. Thank you for curing my cat Toby!!

I feel like I was tricked into an exam I didn't need to get. I called and was very specific- my cat had an annual exam exactly a month prior and was due for a booster vaccine. The vet I went to before was far away so I wanted to switch to this vet as it is closer to home. The girl on the phone was very sweet and told me that they could do the booster no problem and even confirmed my kitten's age. I came in for the appointment today and was told my cat wouldn't be getting the booster. I asked why and they said I waited too long and she was too old now (which cannot be true because I followed the directions I got previously from the vet). I tried to explain this and the staff still insisted that she couldn't get the booster but that they could still test the stool sample. They took me to an exam room and took my cat to do a quick exam in the back (don't vets normally do the exam in front of you??). I ended up paying $150 for this. Immediately after this appointment i called my old vet AND another in the area who BOTH confirmed that she should have gotten the booster and were confused why the vet wouldn't do it. I feel so stupid for not trusting my gut because now I'm out $150 for an exam I didn't need. And they knew this as well, I explained I had JUST taken her for an exam and only wanted the booster. Also, they asked me why my cat isn't spayed and suggested kittens should be spayed at 8 weeks?? I called around- this was also untrue :/ I'm so confused why they are doing this and now I have to find a new vetEDIT: not sure how to reply to the owner but he is correct, I did not raise the concerns while with him since they had made it clear at the front desk that they weren't going to do the booster. Also didn't raise my concerns since I wasn't sure if what I experienced was normal- until I called around and got completely different answers. Plus the only reason I made an appointment was for the booster and it would have been nice if the girl on the phone told me that my kitten was too old since she did ask for the age and told it was the second booster and supposed to be 3-4 weeks apart. It's a shame she didn't mention it then, because if she did I would have found another vet. I'm not going to ask for a refund because I did let them do the exam when I should have turned around and left when they said they wouldn't do the booster. That's on me.

Dr. Clifton is great, but it is a chore to get anything out of the hospital. Every appointment is months away, every prescription takes weeks to write, every meeting involves 20 minutes of waiting...
