This store is such a blessing to have in Vienna! It's helped me expand my efforts to take care of our earth. First I was introduced to the washing machine sheets so I don't have to get the big detergent packages. Now I also use the dryer balls so I don't purchase the dryer sheets that don't compost. I learn about new products constantly there and always feel uplifted as I leave. I look forward to going back, almost hoping I'll run out of something sooner, lol. There's a discussion about a native plant swap later in April also. I enjoy their events, and educational as well.

I recently visited for the first time and was impressed by everything, including the customer service. The person working showed me where things were in the store and was helpful in finding what I needed.Since Mason and Greens in Alexandria closed, this is the only zero waste store in the area that I am familiar with and will be sure to stop in for plastic free goods when I am in the area.

An amazing store! We love the refillary aspect as well as all the sustainable products you can buy - it's also our go to spot for thoughtful, local housewarming gifts. The owner, Mala, is fantastic too! Very accommodating and helpful! We love shopping here - you will too!

This is a great little store and the owner and staff are super friendly and helpful.I recently did a purge of old spices and took the bottles into the store to purchase fresh ones, for a FRACTION of what it would have cost in the grocery store. Plus you can buy what you need, since some spices you don’t go through very quickly. Their balsamic vinegar is awesome too! They also have great washable scrubbers for your dishes and great plastic saving storage items- I love the silicon caps to put on the open end of blocks of cheese. Genius! Good cleaning and other supplies as well. I always leave inspired to take extra steps to cut waste.Shout out for their onsite knife sharpening as well- reasonable prices to have your knives refreshed while you shop! It’s another vendor check the dates when they’re available.

What a hidden gem! I have been looking for something like this and was so excited when I found them. I filled up my containers and their taring system was easy to use with great prices. While I was there I was able to purchase a few more items I’ve had my eye on. The cashier was very kind and helpful!

First of all this store is small business which is a great way to support the fairfax county community. I was happy to find a refillable eco friendly store near me. When I first walked in I was greeted great customer services. Then I was explain how things work. Basically you can take your own container such as jar or anything like that and then it will be weighed and then that’s how you pay for the item or they offer jars to which is amazing. The price was thing I would say are reasonable because you get select what best works for you and you can buy an large or smaller quantity’s. Overall the initiative at the store is amazing and workers at this store are friendly and willing to explain how zero waste works.

5 stars because these guys are a small business and they have very specific stuff I can't find in bulk anywhere else: many many options for liquid soaps, BAKING POWDER AND SODA!, organic flours (including spelt), raw cashews. I LOVE their reusable digital tare weight tokens! Lower stars for price, though -- you'll likely spend twice or even thrice the price of comparable (non-bulk) items, for good reason wompwomp (organic, no waste, etc.). I think their sweet spot would be in stocking items that are hard to find in bulk at Wegmans or Mom's or Whole Foods, like organic bread and WW flours or sunflower lecithin or dairy-free chocolate chips.

Finally a refillable store with a good selection that is close to me! They also occasionally have freebies (jars, seeds, etc.) and events. Very excited to return and participate in more events.

Came here after seeing it featured on IG - such a cute store featuring tons of zero waste options for food (pasta, rice, beans, spices), soap refills - shampoo/conditioner/body wash, detergents, and other eco-friendly items.Definitely make a point to chat with the owner- she's very knowledgeable and more than willing to help answer questions!

Love this store and the owner! Bought a ton of Christmas presents for my college-age daughter who is studying sustainability to show her I too care about Mother Earth. Wish I lived closer to make it part of my regular grocery shopping routine.
