My previous haircut turned into an awful shape. She not only fixed my shape, but she also gave me lots of tips on how to style it based on my hair’s tendencies to wave in certain areas. It was amazing! My lifetime mystery is solved!

Sunny is talented and skilled at styling your dreamable hair, she is very detailed with anything you want as well.
It takes 2 hours driving for me, but I would not complain because I love coming back to see her always💜 Never disappointing!!

Sunny and Sung are the dream team! They work together and they are very nice and friendly. Even thought I don’t speak Korean fluently, they tried their best to communicate with me and offer great customer service. I did my haircut, root touch up and blow dry and everything came out perfect! 감사해요

I got a perm today and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I have very thin and fine hair and it’s hard to fine places that can perm fine hairs well. It came out so pretty, and I absolutely love it! The hair stylist even trimmed my hair before the perm to make it even more stunning. Salon Nuvida is a place to go if you have very fine hair like me :)

I came to Salon Nuvida twice now. First time I got a trim and dyed it and the second time I got a short bob cut. Both times I was fully satisfied. I went with picture references hoping to get something close to what I imagined but she cut, dyed, AND styled to match me perfectly. Instead of just following the pictures exactly she would cut my front bangs to match my face shape and lightened the dye I chose to make my skin color seem lighter. So if you want a personalized hair stylist that actually cares for you and emphasizes your features I definitely recommend Salon Nuvida!

I'm so glad I found the salon! This is probably my favorite hair salon now in the DMV area. Can't think of a better place with a great hair stylist for a super reasonable price. I came for a root touchup, but the hairstylist recommended that I get a trim also. The haircut turned out to be the best I've ever had here in the area. She gave me recommendations on what would look best, but wasn't pushy about it at all. I'm glad I listened to her advice and got the trim, it looks so sleek and bouncy. The salon is bright and clean inside and there is ample parking.

This salon is a gem! Ms. Sunny is an exceptional hair stylist. She's not fluent in English but if you bring her pictures of what you want, she gets it done. She will offer (gently) her opinion - if she thinks the style will be difficult to achieve with your hair texture, if she thinks it doesn't suit your face shape. But of course she will do whatever you ask! I brought my 16yo daughter for a long-overdue haircut and while waiting, asked her the price for hair coloring or balayage. She surprised me by saying, "No, her hair is so damaged from the previous coloring, it will take at least a year for it to grow it out; please. do not get it colored until then!" She could have kept that opinion to herself and done the coloring job for a nice fee, but she didn't! She then made suggestions for the kind of shampoo and conditioners we should get to care for the damaged hair. Ms. Sunny takes her time and after the wash will make any adjustments she deems necessary. I confessed I never blow dry or style my hair but wanted a short cut, and she took that into account and gave me a cut that was both cute and low maintenance! I also brought in my 13yo son for a haircut and we both left happy (he's never happy about his barbershop cuts!) So happy we found her.

I highly recommend this hair stylist from Korea. If you are a fan of K-pop, just show her pictures of the hair styles you like or any K-star's trendy style, she can do exactly the same as in the pic. She used to be a professional hair stylist in Seoul and is very skillful. Not to mention her pricing is so good for both men and women haircuts.
