I had a very unpleasant experience with LEONEL VILLELA who works for NFM Lending, such a disgrace to have an employee like him. We met up with him once to hand him paper work b.c we were going to buy a house with this company. I called him b.c I had questions guarding the purchase & he returned my call only to insult & humiliate me, as if I’m not allowed to ask questions throughout the process. Very disrespectful! He stated “I do not need to help you with this process b.c I have enough money to be able to live with out this sale” & proceeded to hang up the call. Very unpleasant man. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

Mark Horton made closing on our first home a total breeze! He went above and beyond to make sure we closed in time before my husband left the country. It was a fast close and what could have been totally overwhelming/stressful ended up working out perfectly, we felt at ease with Mark and Aubriel. Mark was professional, kind and organized. We had a ton of questions and felt clueless at the beginning of the process but Mark answered all of our questions along the way. I felt he truly had our best interest at heart and was very thorough during each step. I cannot recommend Mark enough!

My clients were selling their home and NfM lending was doing the purchasers loan. The loan kept getting pushed back leaving my clients not knowing when/ if the loan would ever close. The communication with the loan officer, Elias Gonzales, was very poor even though I told him my client was purchasing a home that needed their home to close. This would not have been so bad if the loan officer was more open about the issues and how much time they really needed to get the loan to close. I spent hours on the phone trying to reach someone from their offices which was very unsuccessful because I could not get any one on the phone. My clients suffered the worst of it having to wait and see everyday for five days on whether or not they needed to move out of the house and could purchase their home. When the loan was finally ready to close and we needed it to get done that day, the closing department decided to wait till the next day to process the needed paperwork. I have worked with many other lenders who would have had the closing department stay and get the paperwork done same day in order to try and correct what was a horrible situation for the sellers and the purchasers. I would never recommend this company to any of my clients or want to have to deal with them on the listing side.

Thank you to Mark Horton and his team at NFM Lending; if I could give them 10 stars, I would! Mark was a God-send! His expertise in the mortgage lending industry was a great experience. Mark’s advice was always on target. It was nice to work a moderate-size lending company vs a large company and I had more of a personalized experience. Mark being local was also a plus as he knew the area I was looking to move. Mark and Aubriel Rivera were always available and patient to answer each and every question I had.
