***Note - Maryam is no longer working as a florist***We hired Maryam Floral to do floral for our wedding on October 9th at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. It turns out that Maryam decided to quit being a florist and her business was transferred to Edge Floral Design. Maryam didn't even have the decency to tell us she decided to quit the business and we found out the day of our floral centerpiece trial that she no longer is working as a florist. While the flowers turned out okay with Edge Floral Design, there were multiple issues with communication and they ended up giving me centerpieces that had tons of white hydrangeas even though we had multiple conversations before the wedding how that was the one type of flower we did not want. In addition, they messed up my bridal bouquet and I didn't have my bouquet for half of my first look photos because they had to go back to fix it. Overall I would not recommend Maryam or Edge Floral Design for wedding floral as they did not follow through and communication was a struggle.

My wedding planner referred me to Maryam Flowers and I'm so glad to have selected them! Maryam was enthusiastic and very patient with my shifting floral needs and she was willing to adjust her proposals accordingly. She invited me to send her a few inspiration photos, and she implemented my vision well. She also personally delivered all the items to my venue.

I was reading all the good reviews that this flower shop had and decided to go ahead and place a big order. I called and someone answered and informed me that she would call me back and no one did. I called back again and no answer. Maybe they only like big wedding orders.

Maryam of Maryam flowers is the sweetest and her arrangements are gorgeous! We had a wedding for 240 people at the Omni in DC. Our wedding was Persian-American so we needed flowers for our persian sofreh and reception. Maryam was so great at helping work within our budget and repurposing flowers from the ceremony to the reception.

Today is the busiest day of the year for flower shops and this company's amazing ability to get the roses I asked for today and delivered is a miracle on its own but to go above and beyond I had put the wrong address and the driver was able to reach out to me, get the correct address, and deliver it on the same run. Well done!

I prefer to use local florists rather than national chains to keep my money local and for the personal touch a local florist provides. And I've never encountered a florist who provides more of that personal touch than Maryam. Not only are her arrangements creative and stunning, her kindness, professionalism, and commitment to her customers is unrivaled. I've contacted her in good moments like anniversaries and bad ones like funerals... from across the country, in town, and -- most importantly -- at the last minute. She's never failed to provide anything less than beautiful flowers, timely delivery, and an outstanding customer experience.

I placed an online order via their very nice website. I got an email confirming the order. The flowers weren't delivered. I've called the store several times, but get rolled to voicemail. The person who was to receive the flowers tells me she's stopped using this florist because of issues like this.

That's who Maryam is - your wedding planning partner! I could not have found a more understanding, patient, responsive, creative, genuine florist. I met with several florists, some of which are very high-end in price. At the end of the day, Maryam makes it about you - it's your event. It's not about what Maryam wants or thinks, it's about what you - Maryam is there to give you advice and her opinions when you ask, but she does not force them on you. Maryam not only listens and respects your vision, she also works with you to actualize on your vision within a reasonable budget! She provides alternatives and options easily to still achieve what you're looking for. She is also great at providing her ideas, understanding what you're looking for, and advising when something you ask for won't work well for your event/setting. I also changed my mind several times and Maryam was super patient and kept up with all the changes and didn't miss a beat. The event was perfect and gorgeous in so many ways. Maryam even helped us fix a little incident in setting up our photo table - it wasn't even her job to! I could not have selected a better florist. I never had to worry once the whole way through planning our wedding about our florals/decor. Go with Maryam for ease of mind and personal attention!
