First time at this Marshall’s location. A wide selection of name brand clothes, shoes, and household items. Prices were clearly marked, and reasonable. The store was clean, free of clutter and wide isles for easy access and movement. I was pleasantly greeted by multiple staff members who were professional, friendly and courteous.

I live near this location, so I visit very often, almost every weekend. When the store first open, it was exceptional, was super clean, and had an extensive runway section. No, as a July 2024, the store has gone downhill. The last few weekends has been broken and the entire store has been extremely hot. The lines are always Long …they can’t seem to get staffing under control. The woman who serve the changing rooms are always very nice and professional, but the changing rooms themselves are Pretty dirty these days. Looks like they don’t sweep at all. This wknd I didn’t even want to try on the clothes because I would have to takeoff my jeans and shoes and step all Floor full of hair lint. The folks at the register are always hit or miss, half of them are good and the other can be a little rude. If you have an online return, it’s a whole situation, sometimes they don’t know how to do them and take like 30 minutes to figure it out.
The pros is that their bag election, and shoe selection is pretty big. The store is self is pretty big and has a wide selection for men, which my partner appreciates. The parking is big and the location is nice because I always pop into home goods which is next door , which is always clean, has AC running and better customer service.

recently had a very unpleasant experience at the Marshall’s on 8353 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA. I attempted to return some baskets and Nautica towels that I had purchased two weeks ago at another location (534 Fort Evans Rd NE, Leesburg). The service at the Leesburg location was excellent, which was completely different from my experience at the Vienna store.
It is understandable that they asked why I was returning the items. I explained that the baskets were too large for my closet and the towels were of extremely low quality—they discolored badly and began pilling after the first wash. I always wash new towels before using them, so this was quite disappointing.
I approached the cashier and requested to speak to the manager because I had removed the barcodes, having initially loved the towels’ design and not expecting to return them. A lady who was the sub-manager reviewed the cashier’s work in detail and said that there was no issue with returning the baskets but that they couldn’t accept the towels because the quality was not Marshall’s fault. Can you believe it? She suggested that I call the company who made the towels to complain about the quality because they were not responsible for unknown brands. I pointed out that the towels were from Nautica, a well-known brand, which left her quiet for a long time as she realized the brand’s reputation.
She then told me I should go back to the other Marshall’s where I bought them (which is too far, and I was with my mom waiting). I demanded to speak to the manager. Mr. Clinton J. came after 15 minutes, already in a very defensive, rude, and disrespectful manner (I am sure he and the sub-manager discussed me beforehand). I explained the issue, and he replied rudely and dismissively, agreeing with the sub-manager that they were not responsible for the quality of the brand.
I told him that I made the purchase and the transaction with Marshall’s, not with Nautica, and that I had never had issues before. Other managers and representatives had been very polite, but not him. Despite claiming to have been in the business for 25 years, he refused to help me and insisted that the store was not responsible for the quality of the product. I was advised to contact the manufacturer directly, which was very frustrating.
Eventually, they did return my money, but not before Mr. Clinton J. questioned me about the number of towels. He said that my receipt showed only three towels, yet I had four. He asked me three times, “How is that possible?” while looking at me in a way that made me feel intimidated. The other customers were staring at us, and it felt like he was implying that I had stolen a towel. I told him I hadn’t even noticed the discrepancy and that it would be impossible to steal a towel with the anti-theft systems in place. It would also be foolish of me to bring an extra towel if I had stolen it. His behavior was completely inappropriate and lacked basic customer service skills.
I now wonder why the sub-manager was similar in demeanor (the cashier, on the other hand, was nice and polite and seemed embarrassed by her boss’s attitude). Overall, this experience was disappointing and left me with a very negative impression of the Marshalls Vienna store’s customer service

Marshalls is great but this store staffing is awful. I shopped during non peak time and they had a line wrapped around their entire store with only 3 cashiers. The management here never even apologized for the over 35 minutes wait and said her employees would come in 30 minutes later. Shelves were empty ... unfortunately I'm not coming back here. They never opened more than 3 registers.

Ridiculously slow cashiers taking forever to fold clothes and scan code despite super long line of customers waiting. Just go to another Marhshalls.

Great selections, but I waited 35 minutes to check out. Store understaffed, but this seems to be the norm at most stores.

A special mention to the gentleman working at the shoe section ( the one who wears a face mask) . He has always been extremely helpful whenever I've been there. Always eager to help and will go out of his way to help you if you can't find your size.
Great job and I could 'nt get his name but whenever I've gone there , it has always been a pleasant experience .

The manager who was on duty on February 25, 2024. He rocks and is polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had a few returns to make; the cashier didn't know how to proceed without a receipt, and he just came and made the process so easy.
