3/25 Update I would lower my rating if possible at this point. As of 3/25 Koons has not once tried to reach me as they claimed they would below. It has been more than a month after they said they would look into it and reach out. Clearly the behavior of the staff is a reflection of the leadership at Koons. In that time Chevy has emailed me claiming my car was delivered. I have not received my refund I asked for and Koons hasn't even bothered to tell me my car is there. At this point I am about to file a better business bureau complaint as well. For one more data point here is Koons listing on the lot a car that meets my build I ordered. Original post included for context. I ordered a Blazer EV and the experience has been terrible. I was excited about the new EV and ordered as soon as I was able and selected Koons as my local dealership in July of 2022 including giving a small deposit. I received multiple emails from GM about the status of my car. Each one always telling me to reach out to my dealer, Koons, if I had questions. 10/17/2023 GM notified my order had been built. On 10/26/2023 a Koons person called me to tell me my order had been built and would soon be on its way to the dealer. After not hearing anything new for some time, I called the sales person on 1/8/24 asking for an update. They did not answer and I left a message. No call back was ever received. After a couple of weeks, I used the contact us webpage and provided my order number and said I just want to cancel at this point. No call back or contact was received. 2/8/2024 I called dealership asking about status, saying I wanted to cancel and was disappointed that I haven't received any call backs. After a call back, Koons said that I have to call GM, even though GM lists them as who I call, and that they never received my order. Of course hard to believe they never received my order, given Koons called me out of the blue on 10/26 to update me on status of my order. From what I can tell, Koons is just making me jump through hoops to get my refund back in hopes I give up I suppose. If you are looking to buy a car, I would be leery of using this place. I know I will not buy a car from here ever again. I hope my small deposit was worth this to Koons. Koons you know how to make this right. It certainly doesn't involve asking me to jump through more hoops to get my refund.

Came in to get my car appraised. They told me over the phone that the finance manager is incredibly reasonable and can even match private party offers. CarMax was offering $11k for my vehicle while Koons was only willing to offer $7k.... Wasted time over this. I do not recommend selling your car here because they lowball you big time. Always sell at CarMax -- they will give you the most money.

This dealership is SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beware of THIS Koons dealership! I purchased a vehicle based on their clean Carfax report 8 months ago, only to discover today that the car had a hidden collision, Damage history, and paintwork too they conveniently left out. This is not just incompetence; it is outright fraud. I have escalated the issue to them today and I am waiting for a response on Monday as they promised. If they fail to address this deception, I will take legal action. Consumers deserve honesty and transparency, not deceit and cover-ups. Potential buyers do not trust this Koons dealership. Protect yourself and your hard-earned money from their deceptive tactics. Steer clear to avoid falling victim to their fraudulent schemes and false Carfax reports.

Got a great price on a new 24 Silverado. Gave me good price for my trade. Process was painless.

I purchased a 2018 Genesis from them. I inspected the car and all looked well. The sunroof had issue and they fixed it before I purchased it. Picked the car up from the dealer, drove away, and I had a front right tire blow less than 6 minutes from the dealer. No problem, things happen. I took the car to the tire shop and noticed that I needed 3 new tires. The other two left tires had gouges in the side walls. I am no professional driver however, that is a lot of damage to do to tires, especially 3 in less than 6 minutes of driving. I called them to let them know and basically got the it's your problem now attitude. I replaced all 4 tires. I guess I should have inspected the car again before I left. Lesson learned. I will not be doing business with them again.

I will NEVER purchase a car here again, ABSOLUTELY NOT trust their service department & will never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away from this place for your own safety, it's one thing to be irritated with their pricing, etc. but when it comes to your safety especially driving around with your children - I am mind blown at 1. How they cannot fix things correctly even after trying TWICE & 2. How they now won't do anything else to fix the issues they have created. I purchased a 2019 Chevy Traverse in March of 2023 from Koons of Tysons Chevy Buick GMC (traded in my Toyota RAV4, with our third kid on the way it was time for more space). Less than 2 months after purchasing this car, one day my sister pointed out how bad my tires looked! I said there's no way, I just bought the car less than 2 months ago & the tires looked fine? (Can't believe that I didn't notice myself yet but... busy with 3 kids and I hadn't thought to look at my tires) I looked at them & the front two were totally fine, the 2 rear tires were COMPLETELY BALD ON JUST THE OUTER EDGES!!! Completely! My Dad looked at my tires & said you should not be driving this if you hit even the smallest thing on the road your tires are going to blow out! Driving around with my 3 kids & hearing this of course scared me, I called Koons the very next morning & they told me I could bring my car in & they will take a look at it. Jimmy Jones in the service center explained something with the alignment was definitely not done correctly & they were going to fix this & get me 2 new rear tires. He said they would need to order them so it would be a few days but they would give me a car to drive home in because "there is no way he can let me drive this home" - they looked terrible!! Fast forward to November 2023, my 9 year old & I were driving home in the rain on a 4 lane highway, my car swerves over inches from ditch & then back over to the other side (my boyfriend asked if I maybe over corrected it? I explained to him I literally didn't do anything it, it felt like I had no control of it). Of course this freaked me out so I'm crying, asking my daughter if she's okay. Even after this we are still on the highway going only 40mph & my car feels like I can't control it if it hits the tiniest bit of water. I called my Dad when we got home & told him what happened & he said to make sure I'm going slow, etc. I told him I swear the car does not handle well, I feel like I can't control it in the rain if you hit the smallest bit of water. I've had multiple cars & even driving other people's cars I've never had it feel like that. My Dad was checking out my brakes last night & took a look at my tires & sure enough SAME EXACT THING! The two rear tires are wearing on the outer edges again. The front tires are fine & wearing normal, back ones are wearing unevenly & wearing on the outer edges. My Dad said something is wrong with their machine at Koons your alignment is not right. I got another opinion from a mechanic as well & he said the same thing alignment! I called Koons this morning when they opened & spoke with Jimmy Jones again in the service department & explained how I was there before & they put the 2 rear tires on & did the alignment yet the same exact thing is happening again. He told me there's nothing they can do they only cover for the "first 3 months or 1,000 miles" - nothing you can do? This should have never happened in the first place right after buying this car, but then I come back get it "fixed" & here it is happening again? Not sure what is wrong with their wheel alignment but this is extremely dangerous!! I am mind blown that they are selling cars like this & performing this type of service here. Someone's safety should be your top priority! Mind blowing!

DO NOT GO HERE!! They have two different prices and can't give you an example as to why there is a Koons price and or your price. I did everything online to speed the process when I get to the dealership. When I got the the pricing break down I called and spoke to the General Manager Jesus and he couldn't even explain what the difference was. They don't honor the pricing and can't explain it either.... DO NOT GO HERE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!! GO ANY WHERE ELSE

Early this year I ordered a new Chevrolet Suburban. When it arrived it was not optioned correctly. They claimed it was the manufacturer that delivered the wrong product. They offered me a $1,000 discount since it wasn't what I had ordered. I opted not to go that route only to find they offered it for sale with a $2,000 discount. I asked if I could place another order for the correct vehicle and they claimed they were only taking orders for 2024 models. Turned out that wasn't accurate, other dealerships were taking orders. Frustrated, I ordered a GMC Yukon from a dealership 30 miles away. Sadly, after 3 weeks it apparently has a problem with the software on the infotainment system. I called the Koons service department but they didn't care to service the vehicle - 3 weeks old, fully under warranty. Clearly, my efforts to spend money at that dealership are unwanted. I suggest people interested in a Chevrolet, Buick or GMC look elsewhere. For that matter I will never visit a Koons dealership....ever. Sincerely, Rick Olson

Took almost three weeks and my car came back with a new crack in the windshield and only some of the body work finished. Not worth the money or time! Took my car into a windshield repair shop and they said someone already tried to patch it so they can't help. Koons will break your car and try to take advantage of you!

They sold me a new truck that had been damaged, repaired and repainted and never disclosed it to me. Once I found out they said they would take care of it and now they refuse to answer my calls and e-mails. I have called 3 times in the last 2 day, had to leave a message all three times and have yet to get e response.

Not a great experience with the body shop. I used them before when Joe was managing it and the work was flawless, customer service was excellent. Now they don't answer their phone, don't respond to emails, and they don't call anyone back. They gave my car back to me with overspray on all the windows and windshield, the doors and the hood. Little dings and dents in the paint everywhere they worked. Still waiting to hear back from them.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had anywhere. It made me want to take an excursion to the DMV because that would seem like heaven compared to this dump. I arrived with a diagnostic report and just wanted a second opinion on replacing my buick encores turbocharger. I was told it should take about an hour. Three and a half hours later I was told they still needed to write up the report. I was watching them work on my car and they hadn't touched it in about two hours. It was sitting outside parked (they looked at it for about 20-30 minutes). After about 30 more minutes they told me nothing different from my original diagnostic report, I'm not sure what they even did that would take so long. Unfortunately I had to pay for the labor of the whole time despite not even needing any of it. Then, I asked for an estimate for fixing the car. It was $1400 for a part I found for $300 online alongside an exorbitant amount of labor. In total the repair came to about half my car's purchase value. Total waste of time, terrible service, and awful value (I paid about $200 for nothing).

My left turn signal fuse and right brake bulbs apparently blew. I took to my mechanic and was informed it was my BCM. That could only be fixed by a Chevy dealer. Great! Lots of money... brought it in and Carlos was my advisor. It wasn't the BCM but wiring. He noted that an aftermarket bulb had caused the issue but I hadn't put one in my turn signal until after it stopped working. I read the reviews and some customers cars were vacuumed but unfortunately, he didn't think enough of me to give that same treatment. Overall, after $1100, my car is back working.

Purchased a 2023 Chevy Tahoe Yesterday. My Salesman Malcom Jenkins was beyond professional. I received a call when vehicle had arrived, car was prepped, detailed, and options explained upon pick up. Everything was yes sir etc. I have bought numerous vehicles from this dealer and it has always been a pleasurable experience. I live 2 hrs. away from this dealership and have always treated in a professional and courteous manner upon each transaction. Its well worth the drive because i know i will be treated courteous and with respect. When the time comes for another new vehicle, i make one call to ensure what i am looking for is in stock. I have purchased numerous vehicles in the past, but NEVER treated better than i was With Mr. Jenkins and Koons Chevy Tysons corner. See you soon.
