Buyer beware this dealership is the worst of the worst car dealers. They will attempt to scam you in every way possible! First they run a bait and switch operation the price looks good, but then they tack on excessive "dealer fees" until they make their margins! Second they will lie to you to get you through the door and then hope you either are not bright enough to catch them at their own scam or you stay even after they lied to you! Last of all they have zero respect for the customer or for customer service! No remorse or sorry we messed up!

Good dealer, doesn't budge on price, even for used cars which is a respectable policy no matter how you cut it.The big issue I had is they wouldn't work with me to clear sales tax (out of state military, certain home states don't pay sales tax). They pulled up rules on excise tax, not sales tax, then somehow calculated almost 18% tax on the vehicle.Otherwise super responsive and helpful. Just couldn't close the deal with the sales tax the way it was.

Took almost three weeks and my car came back with a new crack in the windshield and only some of the body work finished. Not worth the money or time!Took my car into a windshield repair shop and they said someone already tried to patch it so they can't help. Koons will break your car and try to take advantage of you!

They sold me a new truck that had been damaged, repaired and repainted and never disclosed it to me. Once I found out they said they would take care of it and now they refuse to answer my calls and e-mails.I have called 3 times in the last 2 day, had to leave a message all three times and have yet to get e response.

Not a great experience with the body shop. I used them before when Joe was managing it and the work was flawless, customer service was excellent. Now they don't answer their phone, don't respond to emails, and they don't call anyone back. They gave my car back to me with overspray on all the windows and windshield, the doors and the hood. Little dings and dents in the paint everywhere they worked. Still waiting to hear back from them.

My left turn signal fuse and right brake bulbs apparently blew. I took to my mechanic and was informed it was my BCM. That could only be fixed by a Chevy dealer. Great! Lots of money... brought it in and Carlos was my advisor. It wasn't the BCM but wiring. He noted that an aftermarket bulb had caused the issue but I hadn't put one in my turn signal until after it stopped working. I read the reviews and some customers cars were vacuumed but unfortunately, he didn't think enough of me to give that same treatment. Overall, after $1100, my car is back working.

Purchased a 2023 Chevy Tahoe Yesterday. My Salesman Malcom Jenkins was beyond professional. I received a call when vehicle had arrived, car was prepped, detailed, and options explained upon pick up. Everything was yes sir etc. I have bought numerous vehicles from this dealer and it has always been a pleasurable experience. I live 2 hrs. away from this dealership and have always treated in a professional and courteous manner upon each transaction. Its well worth the drive because i know i will be treated courteous and with respect. When the time comes for another new vehicle, i make one call to ensure what i am looking for is in stock. I have purchased numerous vehicles in the past, but NEVER treated better than i was With Mr. Jenkins and Koons Chevy Tysons corner. See you soon.

Purchased my 2022 Trail Boss from Koons. No issue. The service department has been terrible. Never going back! First, dealer owed my floor mats. So during my first service…they handed them toMe in a box…wouldn’t even put them in even though it was in for oil change. Then, I get an email saying parts had arrived and are ready to install (micro ships). I go in for my next service and mention the parts….not actually at the service center. So I only get the oil change. I get a call a few weeks later that the parts are in. Schedule the service…go in…2.5 hours later they tell me they don’t have a bolt for the steering column and I can’t take the car home. They give me a rental…I come back the next day to pick up my truck and as I’m driving away the steering wheel is running like crazy! They take it back in and the service rep tells me it’s a loose panel..they will tighten it up and be right out….1.5 hours later no one is at my truck.. (I can see it). This is what warranty service looks like. Since I’m not paying…no one cares. I’m finding a new service center.Update…3 peopleNow looking at my truck….Update: back in a rental. They need time to research and find a fix…..

This was the smoothest car selling experience I've ever had; like what Carvana wants to be, but done right. Here's what happened:I posted an ad on Craigslist (which now charges $5 for the listing, by the way). As I'd never sold a car for more than $5000 and was asking over $30,000 for this one, I asked for a bank transfer or in person bank check (i.e. I was requiring that I go with the buyer to their bank to get the check). Since most people want financing above $20k, this was the first hangup. I had a Carmax appraisal and knew what it was worth to them, but thought I could make a few bucks and sell it myself.Someone from Koons Buys Cars reached out and matched the Carmax offer, but picked up the car, printed me a live check, and had me waiting in my house rather than at their location where I'd need a ride home. The communication with Rick and Gina were both great. Rick called when he was leaving and gave me the drive time estimate and hit it to the minute. He texted when he had arrived and I came out and we chatted for a few minutes, then he did the full inspection while I was back inside (about 15 mins) and got the offer finalized with someone in the office over the phone, then texted me that he was ready. A few signatures and some great advice (insurance, tags, DMV notice, all that) later, he was done, and scheduled Gina to pick up the vehicle.Experience with her was very similar. Super friendly, helpful, and competent. She pulled up a trailer and strapped on and removed the car solo--all I had to do was remove the plates. This is a big difference in selling to a private party, who usually wants to keep the plates so they can get it home, but that puts the buyer at risk during that drive, and prevents them from having plates to turn in to the DMV (which may require it but didn't in my case). There was no upsell on a new vehicle at all, as the buying service is separate from the selling service.Yes, I *might* have found the right buyer and gotten more, but I removed the risks of the bad checks, the time waiting on people to show up and test drive, and a lot of the hassle of car selling. Carvana has really bad reviews and sort of scared me off, and their offer was lower than Carmax', so I think in this area, Koons does a better job than either.

Avoid doing any service or maintenance here at all costs. This place is a chop shop. They just want to get your car in and out as fast as possible at any cost. And by cost I mean damage to your vehicle. Service turn around time is great but I brought my brand new car in for 1 simple installation of an item that is outside my car and I get the car returned with severe damage to the interior (looked like the inside was used to store a bunch of sharp tools) and dents to the body of the car. I havnt even had time to drive the car yet and already I have to deal with this. They are good with accepting responsibility but when I bring it back to repair the damage they made, they damage something else. This happened 4 times in a row. Finally when I get my car back with no damage, I decided never in my life to bring my car here for service. You know how much time out of my day I took for this one simple issue? And you know how much gas I had to waste coming back and forth to this place from home? It's unacceptable. Dealerships are a pump and dump business. From what I learned, they have mostly amateur mechanics working in their shops and they are just warm bodies to fill a role. No experience or care for their job at all. Experienced mechanics rarely stay at dealerships. So take your car to any small shop and have some old guy work on it. These young guys think they are handling trash bins or something. I hate leaving bad reviews but I hope they take the initiative to train their technicians to handle customer vehicles with care.
