Heart is argumentative and does not honor client's wishes. I would not go there. She cannot do hair styling.

Quality was absolutely terrible. Vibe even worse. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my bangs and she proceeded to scold me. Her virtually screaming at me for even daring to ask, claiming it'd be impossible to achieve that because I did not have a sort of voluptuous hair type as the woman in the photo. True, my hair is rather thin. Little did she know, apparently, that the woman in the photo was me. At that point, I said, fine, do what you can, I just want to relax. She then offered the haircut free of charge. Why? Did she realize how inappropriate her response to a simple, reasonable request was? Quite likely.

Very experienced and efficient owner, she is always willing to make time for her clients. Have gone here for haircuts and balayage highlights and have left happy every time!

Decided to come here on a whim one night. Best decision ever. Heart did such a wonderful job with my haircut. Not only that, but she is super personable and overall just a talented woman. Highly recommend!! Will definitely be returning :)

We love going with Heart! We have been going there for a while now, we just text her and she responds with her availability immediately. She is always very accomodating and works with you on the scheduling. Our daughter since going with her, now loves to have short hair above the shoulders length, and her hair grows so fast too. I only get my tips cut but such a good price too! I once cut it above shoulder length and really liked it as I was coming from waist long hair. Totally recommend Heart! That's why she has raving reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor too. She recently moved location to a bigger place and we will follow to wherever she goes!

Heart, the hairdresser, was so good! This is honestly the best haircut I've gotten and it was so affordable as well! I asked for a U shaped cut with long layers, curtain bangs and face framing front layers and she delivered! I got a ride from a friend to come.out here since I live close to DC but I would honestly brave the hour long public commute just to get my hair cut by Heart again! highly recommend especially if you want to get curtain bangs - she said that's her specialty!

I have been going to see Heart since 2016. Since then I have moved out of NOVA, 4 hours away and I still come to see her when I am in town. Heart is an extremely skilled hair stylist. She will give you want you want, and with over a decade of experience, she will tell you up front if what you want will suit you or not. She has moved to a new location: 360 Maple Ave west Vienna, VA. I was a bit confused when I arrived at the salon because it was not labeled Ihair but Beauty my Blessings. The new place is gorgeous and has a relaxing atmosphere. Within two hours, Heart was able to color my roots, balayage my hair and took what I saw in a photo and made it a reality. She also was able to color and cut my mother’s hair within that time too. I will go anywhere Heart goes to, and her haircuts have always been consistent. Her prices are also very competitive and affordable! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend coming to I Heart Hair Salon. It is my favorite salon I've been to. Angie is an amazing hairstylist who has dyed my hair many times. She has done amazing everytime!

Highly recommend!!! I first sent Heart a photo of my hair and an example of the hair I wanted (light/blonde highlights) and booked an appointment. I got there early, so she was working on other clients, and right at 2pm, my appointment time, she started on my hair. By the end of my appointment, someone had JUST walked in. I loved how she times her appointments right on the dot and honors the time of the clients. When I sat down in the chair, she offered some recommendations given my skin tone, and mentioned that the blonde color highlights I originally asked for may not be the most flattering. She wasn't pushy or pressured me to go with her recommendations; I just know nothing about hair, so I was happy to go along with it. She recommended red-violet highlights... and I am blown away how nice the hair color she chose really look amazing! the color really did complement my skin tone. Given my naturally dark hair, the highlights is subtle enough that it's not the most noticeable unless you look closely or in the sunlight which I really like (especially considering I work in a professional environment), so the hair style is perfect. My appointment was about an hour and a half. I got a trim (1 in), bleaching process for highlights, shampoo, dye wash, blow dry + hair curled. This was ~$150 (+tip), which is a GREAT deal. We had great conversations (she gives great life advice!), and even offered me some food and chocolate as we were the only ones there and I was chilling at the bleach processor station. As other reviews describe, it's not a high-end salon. This is very much a humble business - one where the experience the client has and the value of the haircut made it the best haircut place I've been to in years!!! So I highly recommend :)

Heart is simply amazing...she transformed my hair with more style. I wish I had before and after photos but the ones on Yelp are great examples. If you're looking for an Asian hair stylist, go to heart! It's not a fancy salon but well worth it.

The b**** that works there screams at incoming customers from across the room then calls the police to escort you out if you were to say she needs to work on her customer service skills. I asked to speak with the owner or the manager and she claimed to be the manager. Worst experience ever!!!

heart is such a great hairstylist! I asked for curtain bangs, face framing front layers, long layers in the back, u shape, and she delivered!! i think her rate is also super good, especially when you compare prices in other places! highly recommend

I got the most amazing blonde balayage from Heart!!
