I used Global tax for the past 16 years for my personal taxes. In 2019, we sold a rental property and ended up needing to pay over $3000 for federal taxes. This year we decided to change directions because we felt the quality of service had deteriorated of the past few years. The same people are never there and if they are they said they were planning to leave. I had H&R Block review my 2019 taxes and they found a massive mistake that was made by Global tax. It saved me $47,000 off our taxable income from 2019. This dropped us into a different tax bracket and we are now expecting a REFUND of over $12,000 for our 2019 taxes. The worst part is we were ineligible for the full stimulus payments. Had our taxes been done correctly by Global Tax. We would have been eligible for the full stimulus payments. So we were shorted thousands of dollars in that as well due to Global Tax’s mistake. I would highly encourage anyone to go elsewhere.
