Misleading company! They steal from customers by lying just to sell their protection plans. BestBuy and Geek Squad make me want to throw up.

Terrible service. Yesterday, I went there to ask them to help me clean the fan dust and change the battery of my laptop. However, the staff told me that they only took appointments and asked me what I needed. So, I made an appointment today and then went back.However, when I came here today, they let me buy a one-year membership for $199, which includes cleaning the fan dust and replacing the battery. If I do not buy the membership, they do not offer the service.If that is necessary, why didn't you tell me yesterday? So I do not have to run again today for nothing.

I had amazing service from Olivia at the Tysons Leesburg Pike store. She was very knowledgeable , patient, and answered all questions. A total winner. She rates a !0!!!

tried to get in touch with someone on the Geek squad. Held for 20 minutes, when I got through, they hung up. Retried several times but still was cut off. Finally called a different number and finally got a person. I said the one of the Geek squad team who had installed my outdoor camera system last week left their pocket knife.(asked for Jonas the team lead) - - dead silence, and they hung up! I'm keeping the knife. It is very nice.

I bought a laptop at Best Buy. Good deal, but after two years the keyboard is shot. It's a part, it can be replaced. But Geek Squad says, "We don't do that." So they refused to do some simple service--reason unknown. They can send the laptop to a "Service Center" and I get it back in two or three weeks! This for a repair that would take not more than 15 minutes for somebody with the tools and know-you. You can try to make your own explanation for "we don't do that." Nobody tried to explain to me.WORSE -- I made the appointment online and clearly spelled out what I need. I got a confirmation of the appointment but clearly NOBODY READS the message making the appointment. Instead I got to make a trip with zero result and bring my crippled laptop back home."We don't do that."

Excellent Service. They are equally proficient on home/office visits and have completely set up my home office in a tremendously effective way. Better yet, the price is phenomenally reasonable! Thank you Geek Squad! Thank you Alex, especially at the store...a thorough and patient tech expert. He doesn't just "fix it", he helps you understand why so that the customer can do it themselves the next time!

I came to this geek squad to get a new stereo installing in my truck so I can only comment to the mobile audio dept of geek squad here. They weren't the most organized but they did good work in a short amount of time. Very little hassel with my visit. The Tech was also very friendly.
