My hair stylist, Tucay, blended two beautiful colors of brown and mahogany, which I absolutely love!!! ❤️❤️❤️
This is the first time I got my hair colored by a new hair stylist, who was so patient and kind and personable with me.
It is a funny story, actually—
I had no plans to get my hair professionally colored today. I just happened to walk around this shopping complex, because I was looking for a place to eat.
But then I saw a Hair Salon sign and thought that it has been ages since I got my hair done professionally (4 years—The last time was before the pandemic).
Then I found myself walking inside this quaint and charming hair salon where the staff was so sweet and friendly and personable.
Essentially, destiny lead me there.
I decided to give them a try without reading any reviews or anything. I trusted my intuition as I got a positive vibe from the place and its people.
They did an amazing job with coloring and washing my hair.
Sometimes it is nice to be pampered, which I probably need to do more often through going to hair salons and having healing body massages done.
They are affordable luxuries imperative in a woman’s life, as we pamper and do so much for our families.
We deserve the same, right.
I am glad I took a risk without which life is just plain boring.
Thank you so much, Tucay, for coloring my hair with gentleness and precision, and Anna, for washing my hair with such calming and positive and healing touch.
I found myself a lovely new hair salon that has very reasonable charges for excellent service.

So, my friend recommended this salon and i will start by saying, my hair was a mess, but they were very attentive and listened to everything i wanted (some of which were slightly unrealistic i know) but they explained everything to me and when we were done it looks beautiful. I love love love it!

I've been to Dogan & John's maybe 5 times for haircuts. There seems to be a wide range in the quality of service...a few times, I really liked the cut, a few times it was just "meh," and there were a few times where the cut was actually not good. After the last cut I received there, the stylist who fixed my hair afterward showed me that the back was lopsided. My hair is very fine and straight, so it is not as though it's a really challenging situation to cut. I've had my hair styled by both Dogan and John, who were very friendly and nice (as was everyone there). There were multiple times when Dogan's hands smelled really strongly of cigarettes, which was unpleasant to have in my hair.

Decent haircut for the price but the salon is super unfriendly and unwelcoming. Not even a hi when u walk in and you're left wondering what to do. They don't smile or make you feel comfortable, and no matter how good the price or haircut I want my salon experience to be relaxing not where I have to sit on the edge of my seat just waiting for the entire experience to be over. I also saw serious hygiene issues with their equipment. The brushes he used on me were old, broken and full of hair. I almost wanted to walk away but I clenched my teeth and sat through the whole thing vowing never to return. What an absolute waste of a bunch of talented stylists. It's almost like they don't care about returning clients.Service: Haircut
