County Transmission was referred to us by a friend. My wife has a 69 Camaro that has been sitting because of transmission problems. County rebuilt the 700R4 transmission and took great care of the car. We took it to its first car show in over 9 months, it shifted amazingly. The service, communication, and outstanding care was superb. They went above and beyond and will definately get our service, if needed for any of our other vehicles. If you are having transmission problems County Transmission the place to go!

My transmission went 6 hours from home. I googled a place with good reviews and found County Transmissions. They have been honest, professional, and went above and beyond to accommodate my situation. They drove me to my rental so I could get home. They worked with my timeline to get my car back. The cost was $1500 less than my local dealership quoted me, AND I have a 3 year 150,000 mile warranty with nationwide coverage. I'm impressed.

I gave my car 2 days ago to fix a transmission issue. The diagnosis made on the car was perfect. The service was excellent and the prices are also very accommodating to the students. I’d definitely recommend this place to other students as well.

I came in today with some code/check engine issues on my Subaru Forester. Got timely attention and great advice from Hampton. A repair wasn't required today, but when I do need it I'll come back to County.

When you experience transmission issues with your car/truck/SUV it can be stressful. Transmission work can be expensive. Finding a trustworthy, knowledgeable, professional, and fair company can be intimidating. After all, most of us don’t know anything about transmissions.
I was lucky enough to have a coworker who recommended County Transmissions. My coworker is from the automotive industry, a trained mechanic (GM Certified) and collision specialist. He and his group of friends in the industry highly recommended County Transmissions simply stating, “You want County Transmissions, no one else!”
That recommendation served me well. The team at County Transmission diagnosed the shifting issues I was experiencing as low transmission fluid. They added 4 quarts of fluid at no charge. When does that happen?! It’s been two months since County Transmission added the fluid and I think of them every day, grateful for their honesty, knowledge and generosity. I was prepared to pony up and pay for a new transmission. What a relief it is to have found such a company!
Sincerely,
Sean McCoart

They seem honest and ethical. I was convinced my minivan had a transmission issue. I brought the van in, and Sean took it for a test drive. He told me it was not a transmission issue after all, but probably a simple engine ignition coil. He was right. Since they focus on transmissions, he recommended I see a mechanic who could replace the coil. A lesser transmission shop might have found some "transmission issues" to charge me for. He even refused to accept payment for for the test drive and diagnostic. He saved me a lot of time, aggravation, and money, and I did not have to pay a penny.

The Dodge dealership told me that I needed a new front end for my truck after it started making a unusual noise. The estimate was over 6k and it was going to be a long wait for the parts. Someone told me to try County so I went over there. Turns out I did not need a new front end at all. Apparently a bolt had come loose and that was what was making the noise. I was stunned and happy when Hampton(maybe the owner or manager?) told me this. I asked what I owed him for the diagnostic and the tightening of the bolt. He said not to worry about it, no charge. I was stunned again. I'll be a customer for life. In fact, they just did some other work for me. Not free this time but I did not expect it to be. Very happy with the results. It seems like this day and age everyone wants to stick you for some money, this place is not like that.

At the recommendation of our highly trusted multi-decade mechanic, we took our 2014 Audi Q7 for CountyTransmission to diagnose what the strange sound that was coming from the front end. Unfortunately they determined it required a new differential and they were unable to find a used one and Audi stated it was on a 6-8 week backorder. Their recommendation was to get rid of it and get a new vehicle. This work was done at no cost. I can’t thank them enough for not up selling me on work that would have left me waiting for months and cost me thousands of dollars. Incredibly honest, first rate team of professionals.
