“I went to several auto shops after I failed my emissions and they all wanted to charge me thousands of dollars. I put it off for years because I didn’t think I could afford it and kept getting the run around from bad shop owners. Tony, the owner explained a critter had gotten into my hood and chewed some wires and only charged me a couple hundred dollars for the repairs. He is the first honest repairmen I have found since I moved back to this area. Because of his honesty, I was able to afford some more work. “County Transmission was referred to us by a friend. My wife has a 69 Camaro that has been sitting because of transmission problems. County rebuilt the 700R4 transmission and took great care of the car. We took it to its first car show in over 9 months, it shifted amazingly. The service, communication, and outstanding care was superb. They went above and beyond and will definately get our service, if needed for any of our other vehicles. If you are having transmission problems County Transmission the place to go!”
“Great experience! 120k mile service completed under $400!I asked them to "check the transmission fluid and coolant system", they inspected both, tested the fluids and said both are in good shape. The mechanic and the receptionist are attentive to the needs of their customers, and the prices for the offered services are reasonable, which can be hard to find in the DMV area. Inspection has a quick turnaround time of 25-30 minutes, but they are really thorough with the services. They even helped fix my broken glove board. Also, definitely take advantage of the vacuum service from here.”

“I came to this dealer recently to test drive the Honda Civic Hybrid hatchback and I loved the car though it was too low for me to even consider purchasing. I also sat in the HRV while I was there. However, the outstanding service I had from Jorge Rivera as my salesperson while I was on site. He was very busy that Saturday that I visited and he let me take the car out for as long as I wanted on a significant test drive. He took as much time as he could with me and even though I didn't purchase a car from him, he took care of all of my needs in test driving the car and looking at the other SUV. He explained the vehicles in detail and gave me a lot of food for thought. I highly recommend asking for him if you are going to see a Honda at this dealership or if you are going to make an appointment ahead of time. You won't go wrong with him. I highly recommend a visit here.”

For years I was looking for a good and reliable place to service my cars. I tried all big name Mercedes dealers in the area. And I have a ton of stories. The one in Tyson forgot to tighten my oil plug and I had oil all over the motor compartment. The one in Chantilly damaged my car while working on the alignment. The one in McLean over tightened my parking breaks that cooked my rotors. The one in Bethesda once returned me a car with no coolant in it, and tried to charge me for some motor oil additive that they added without my consent and that is not approved or recommended by Mercedes another time. And I can continue even further and further.
Bottom line, I was looking for a reliable service that knows Mercedes cars and can take care of them. And I'm glad that I came to Silver Star!
To say that Peter knows Mercedes is to say nothing! I think he knows them all better than his own kids. :)
He told me all about my car, my motor and possible issues and risks specific to my model year and this particular motor. And he knew it all by hart.
Apparently I needed to take care of one issue that was emerging. I would not say that the service was cheap. But it was really reasonable since they needed to get inside my car's motor. It was really not bad.
But what I got at the end was a stunning result! My car, that now has 90K miles on it run like brand new again. Perhaps even better than new. The motor started working much smoother and acceleration become really instant and inspiring. I took it up for a long ride and it put a big smile on my phase yet again, the same way it did back when I drove it from the dealer lot first time.
I think I've found a place where my car will be serviced form now on and I'd say that I can trust Peter and his crew hands down.
It's obvious that mechanics, like all of us people, can make honest mistakes, but I can say that Peter and his guys stand behind their work.”

“I recently was referred to BWT Tire & Auto Repair to fix some issues with a belt I was having with my Toyota 4Runner. I gave them my car in the morning around 9 am, and by midday they'd responded with reasonable prices and info on what fixes they'd need to make. By 5 pm that day they'd replaced the necessary belts and my car was good to go. I went on two 5 hour drives in the next week, and I had no issues with the car and the belts the entire drive! Big thanks to them for helping me out since I was on a time crunch, will surely be going back to them for additional repairs in the future.”

“I’m usually heavy on Lyft complaints, but there’s no denying their mobile vehicle maintenance service is a huge winner. The price competitive but the convenience factor is this absolutely amazing. Michael, my tech, was there right on time for the appointment (which is more than I can say for the “between 2-4 PM” Verizon fiOS tech I’m waiting for right now at 4pm). Less than an hour later, he was gone and it was done. The icing on the cake was my Lyft “boost” on cashapp saved me 6% on the bill because the Lyft system charges for the work as “Lyft” ????Probably because of poor planning or unexpected associated costs, most “good things” that have been introduced by Lyft have eventually ended up going away but hopefully that won’t be the case with mobile maintenance. If they need to modify/enhance this business to gain profitability, I hope it will still serve drivers well. Based on my experience today, I would never take my vehicle to a shop for oil change, tire rotation, or other general maintenance again.”

About an hour total on day of delivery and we were on our way home. Only disappointing part of the sale was our interaction with the finance manager. Booked an appointment easily for the next day with plenty of time slots available. Dropped off my car around lunchtime after a sideswipe left a dent on my driver’s side panel. They quoted me a fair estimate—not the cheapest but understandable for my first dent repair. They even provided a loaner so I could get back to work, which was a nice touch.
The repair itself is nearly flawless. They don’t do painting, but their manual dent repair is spot on. The small scratches and scuffs left are just where the paint chipped, which I’ll touch up with OEM paint. Overall, very satisfied with the quality of their work and the smooth experience.”
