I was a walk in with my mother and a child. Did a mani/pedi for them. I wanted acrylics, I asked the girl at the front desk if they can do designs she said yes. They had 3D gel designs at the front drying table on display. I sit down, and the First Lady starts to apply the tips, two of them were applied crookedly. I showed her, she fixed it. Then I showed her how long I wanted them. She cut two too short and had to reapply them. She stated that they were just too long. When I showed her the design I wanted, she said she couldn’t do it. One of the girls tries to mediate, I explain to her that it’s misleading to have the display of none of the artists can do it. She said the only person who was able to do it was off. She tried to talk me into getting a simple chrome polish. I asked if the person was even good at shaping because the trust was lost. She said yes, then the nail tech handed me off to another nail artist who “can” do the flame design. I sit down and the first thing she said is it’s too long lol. At that point I was getting annoyed because it’s a job, either you can do it or not… What you’re doing is complaining to the customer which sounds like lazy incompetence. So she then says she’s not complaining just trying to talk about the design. That it would be really expensive, which was not an issue. So at that point she was profiling me…Starts to go back and forth with me, and at that point I told her I was not interested in them finishing the job bc they clearly could not do it. I go to the front desk to pay for a children’s mani pedi and adult mani pedi bc I was going to take my acrylic business elsewhere. I spoke to the girl who said they could do designs and tell her next time she should ask the type of designs. Bc they weren’t even able to paint a flame design. I looked at the paint job they did on the child and they hadn’t even cleaned it. I had to ask them to clean the polish on their actual fingers… Long story short, very unprofessional nail salon. Do not recommend going here at all. All the nail ladies were talking amongst themselves. So it was super awkward but I kept my cool. The lady who did my mothers nails did a great job, they need more people like her in this establishment. She did her work, it was clean and kept it pushing. The rest were not professional at all…. At the end I payed $69 for shitty service. I walked out with unfinished nails lol but I’d rather take my business elsewhere to competent nail artists.
Update: not even 24 hours and the horrible paint job they did for children’s nails is chipping. No top coat was applied.

Love the calming vibe here and feeling like they care about thier service and your experience. I feel like they take good care of my nails too without excessive mechanical filing. Calming landscapes and spa music are usually on the TVs. I see Hana twice a month and she is excellent. Parking has never been an issue for me. I come for early appointments and appointments later in the evening. Super close to Tysons mall as well if I need to swing by to pick something up before or after getting my nails done.

First things first, my nail tech was super nice. My nails were durable and adorable. I absolutely loved them. My only complaint is that I called beforehand and asked about the price and they gave me a completely different number (On the phone:$45 or $54 with tip. In the salon: $64 or $76 with tip) I still loved it and it was worth the money but it was confusing. The workplace was clean and relaxing with a TV playing calming music. Overall, worth it and very cute but I wish it was less confusing!

I got a pedicure here for the first time and I'll definitely be coming back! It was only $35 (tip not included) and they gave me a scrub, lotion and paraffin wax :) My friend and I almost fell asleep because of how soothing it was inside. My pedicurist was friendly and considerate.

Gel manicure started peeling less than a week from getting done. The manicurist had started filing nails AFTER gel was applied so the edges were not sealed with the topcoat, resulting in major lifting a few days later. She also was not accommodating about color choices. I asked for a particular color and she claimed that they did not have it and did not offer to bring another color swatch when I saw several hanging on the wall. When I moved from the pedicure chair to have my manicure done, the woman next to me had the color I asked for. Disappointed with this salon and wish I didn't believe all the raving reviews.

Needed a mani/pedi bad. Made time in between mtgs today. Glad I called for a last minute appt. Service did not disappoint. I was dozing off sitting in the massage chair, then again while trying to sit upright at the nail station. No paraffin wax with the regular pedicure anymore but they do scrub, lotion, and hot towel. They also put booties and gloves on your hands and feet during your service for a min or 2, so the lotion can soften your skin. Prices were very reasonable. Wish I actually lived here so they would be my new go to place. I come to VA fairly often so I will be back.

Did a walk in for full set dip powder and gel pedi Loved my nail set and the color choices are beautiful here. Very nice and relaxing. Would recommend.

A HARD NO. My tips were glued angled upwards which created a dip. When I asked my tech to fix the divot she said can’t because we used dip… which is understandable however the divot wouldn’t exist if the tips were glued on correctly. No apex - nail has already cracked and there are 4 nails that are uneven.

Come here for pedicures!!! For the same price as other salons, theirs includes paraffin wax and the service is top notch. The pedicure is always meticulous and not rushed. The salon is relaxing/clean, the staff are always so friendly and appointment booking is easy - you just need to call them. My go to spot!!

Heather at Artistic Nails & Spa was the sweetest, kindest, most talented nail technician. She was a lovely person to chat with and had such an eye for detail when I showed her the picture of nails for inspiration. She did a fantastic job and made sure I was very taken care of, checking in with me along the way to ensure I was satisfied. Nail salons need more Heathers. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone I meet. Thank you for your warm and thorough service!
