We could not have asked for a better experience. Architessa did everything they could to make our project as seamless as possible. Their shipping dept is great to work with and Colleen and Marianna were so helpful along the way, going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. 100% will be using them for our other tile projects.

We loved our experience with Marianna. She helped us figure out a backsplash for our kitchen within 30 minutes. We had been working with another designer and we had been struggling with the kitchen backsplash for months. Marianna saw our cabinets and floor choices and asked a few questions and produced 2 ideas and we chose one of the two! It was so easy and she is wonderful. Once we finish our build, I will post a picture of our tiles backsplash.

I used Architessa in Vienna for my kitchen and bath remodels. They have a wide selection of tiles at various price points. But let’s face it, you can buy tile all over the place, so it matters that you have a representative that knows their business and can guide you through the process. I worked with Donna H., and she was fantastic. She really helped me to settle in on a tile combination that brought symmetry across both builds. She was “no pressure”, responsive, and willing to share her opinion when I struggled with the various tile combinations. It was a pleasant experience and I highly recommend Architessa and Donna. Oh, and the final tile combination was spot on!

I bought beautiful tile, just 40% too much of it. The designer added on extra tile for matching. The tiles were in large lots so that got bumped up. We could have cut back by putting a small border around the feature wall. However the designer is focused on selling you tile not getting the best outcome. So we have a good bit of extra custom tile that will never be used

The most amazing experience figuring out tile choices thanks to Eric. He truly goes above and beyond helping you find the perfect pieces for your project and his enthusiasm is contagious. The store offers incredible selection of tile but Eric is the highlight of the entire experience.

Eric was awesome! My husband and I came here after we visited the Rockville store and was floored by the expertise and guidance of Eric. He is witty and engaging! He shared a vast amount of insight from designing options and styles to the purchase agreement. He is patient and professional! The store although smaller than Rockville has a large selection of signature ideas on display.

Agree with other reviewers about the lack of professional follow-through. Initially very helpful to get the sale, then a series of sloppiness, stood-up phone appointments, sales person ordering the wrong product, failure to ensure client received correct products (despite significant mark-up on their end--which one would think would cover them verifying the client received the correct product before it left their warehouse), and then failure to provide a prompt refund when the wrong items were ordered. Finally got fed-up with them and ordered the rest of our tile needs from other vendors. Maybe Betty Sullivan and her son David Benson will learn that it takes more than changing the business name (they are now Architessa) to stop them from losing $30,000 in tile sales--but good old fashioned common sense business practices: do what you say you're going to do and be respectful to the client.
