Checked the website earlier today and it reported that it opened at 12:00. Checked the site again, opened. Arrived at 2:30, it was CLOSED! Disappointed especially since it's not close to anything.

The location is beautiful and convenient for after a hike or drive down the parkway. The wine is good albeit pricey. The food is basically aldis charcuterie boards at 3x the price though and the lady up front at times seems to be the only person working, which strikes me as unsafe given cell service isn't so great either.

At the time of this writing the property is listed for sale. The property has beautiful mountain views, but to us the business had a "waiting to sell" vibe to it. The wine is high priced for what it is. A bottle of Chardonnay $59, glass $16. There are some prepackaged food & snack items on refrigerated shelves, serve yourself, like at the local Wawa or Sheetz. We didn't buy any food. We assume you're allowed to bring your own picnic food onto the property.
We'll probably not go back until we see what a new owner might do with the business after the property sells.

The views were spectacular!! Actually breath taking. Hospitality was good! Prices were a bit much.. But,...the comment on wether they offered military discout was disturbing... It's not offered on carry out because the percentage is to high... what's to high , my Husband gave 30yrs of service to this country for your freedom ...The host waiting on us found it amusing and laughed...sorry will not return. There are spectacular views all over the mountain.

Long winding, treacherous road to find $28 for 4 2oz tastings
One we couldn’t drink, none of them were really good. I expected much better for the price
We are from Niagara, some of the best wine anywhere. Tastings cost much less there, as are the prices of the wines. Much better wines.
The view was amazing, but when we decided to purchase a bottle (the only one that was somewhat good), we were ignored
We walked out. Very disappointed.

The highest altitude wines in Virginia. One of the most beautiful views I’ve ever experienced at a vineyard! Unique conditions make for a unique flavor of wine. Set aside some time to enjoy the swings too!

Discovered this Winery in 2023. What a beautiful getaway up in the Blue Ridge parkway. Definitely need to add it to your list for any wine lover and adventure seeker. Had the Pinot Noir it was wonderful crisp and clean very memorable. Met the owner of the day we were there such a nice man. Apparently the land used to be a tree farm, has some really neat history ask them about it when you're there.

Solid wine made from local grapes. Really good venue for a post-hike tasting flight. Bit pricey.

This place is out there a ways but worth the trip. It is situated nicely on a ridge with beautiful vistas, plenty of parking, and outdoor seating. The wine choices were limited when we visited so somewhat disappointing.

Spectacular views. Very easy to miss the turn off of the parkway but so worth it to turn around. Chardonnay was my favorite.
