Old school gun and rifles shop. Respectful and knowledgeable personnel and 3 or 4 old men sitting a round talking and remembering old times. It was a pleasure to visit over the big box shops.

The guys at Gun Shack are very welcoming and helpful. I've been in numerous times and they always make sure to answer any questions I have. Last year I bought a shotgun from them for hunting season. They didn't rush me and helped me make sure I purchased the most comfortable one. They do offer a small discount for cash transactions. Long story short, after finding out the ATM wouldn't dispense my desired amount of cash they still went ahead and gave me a discount. Overall, the Gun Shack is a welcoming place for both experienced and novice alike.

Went on recommendation from a friend. I purchased several top of the line items and paid them to line bore and mount a brand new 700 dollar scope on a rifle. The workmanship on the scope mounting was very sloppy. The top of the rings were not screwed down evenly (one side screwed all the way together and the other side 3/16 apart), the windage knobs were turned to the highest setting (so far off couldn't get the first shot on 5 foot target at 50 yards,) and the scope was rotated about 10 degrees. I had to completely rework what I paid them to do. Although I could have bought my items cheaper from other places I didnt mind trying to help a local shop. I just wanted them to take enough time to do the work correctly and with pride. They were nice enough but I just cannot recommend them.

Been here quite a bit. Always a great place to stop in. Service is great, and seems like it may even be a hangout for a few folks. With the friendly staff I can understand why. Have been able to find what I needed just about every time.
