It presents a nice opportunity to try new/different items at a lower price that you would not typically try because they are expensive to risk it.”

“Tonya's Food Lion is great. It's always a good mix of groceries across the Spectrum. My inky suffocation is ask I think the deli should take what's left of the hot bar that day and put it out in the cold case, like all the other stores do, so we can grab a quick snack when we're done at the Y if we want to. But the staff is super and they're nice to people and it's a clean open nice place to shop. Is definitely in good hands since Mr Pritchett as well :)”
“I stopped by and was greeted with a friendly welcome. Fast service, good cheeseburger, and the hot dogs are really flavorful, like a kielbasa or something, they're delicious. Nicely done. Sodas were less expensive than at other stores, and the owners were there and so nice. I'll be back, and if you read this review, you should stop by and give them a try. Really nice, cozy shop, with delicious food, and the pickled eggs I bought tasted just like my grandma's recipe. Nice memories, cute country store, with a little bit of everything, along with a nice deli / diner. Really cool.”
“I LOVE this Food Lion! Nataly (my cashier) asked the usual "did you find everything..?" Happens I did not so she asked permission to find them for me!! 3 other cashiers stepped up to ensure other customers didn't have to wait while we ran about finding my missing items. “I shop Martin's often..3/4 days a week at times. I stop before work often as well. I love the floral department! It's always so eye catching & a beautiful selection of flowers ?..The salad bar is a great ! & It's the only place I can get the bottled water my son likes. Also the doughnuts are our fav! “The shopping was great!! The cashier threw my groceries a little hard back into the cart resulting in me finding a torn bag of flour out at my car. I had to go back into store to get a new one. Kind of inconvenient to go hack into store. Would have been 5 stars if not for issue with flour.”
“Clean, produce fresh and clean, very friendly staff that talks to you instead of ignoring you. The stockers are always checking to see that you find everything you need. The store is well organized and always stocked. The cashiers are beyond the best at friendliness and they are very efficient. I love this place to shop better than any other store in Lexington!”
“Don't ask questions. Get some chicken, get a breakfast sandwich. Everything is good. Everything. I've dreamed of this place and this food. My first visit I told the woman I might be back she said "oh you will." Reader, she was right. I went back every day for a whole week. A WEEK!!!! Best down home, hand battered, homemade food I've EVER had next to my grandma's cooking rest her soul. Those ladies are whipping up wonders in that kitchen.”

“This DG is always a little cramped for space but you cant beat the prices, especially the dollar item isle. As far as the employees....some are very friendly and helpful and just like anywhere else you got those that just dont care about the customer. Sadly I got THAT person...lol. moved on. Haha”
“Kroger on Arch Avenue has been a stable on the east side of the City of Waynesboro for many many years. Recently, it seems they have done subtle changes to the store and layout. There is a great amount of parking along with a small gas and convenience store in the parking lot. I do think they could use more employees on the the floor but there a couple employees that have been here for years and always available if you need help. Anytime, I'm on this side of town, I use this Krogers.”

“The interior is nice. Prices are very affordable and have many sales. The only thing is that some of the cashiers are slow, but otherwise this is a great place to get gas and groceries.”

“I wish this Food Lion was able to train other Food Lions how to run! Staff was personable, helpful and overall seemed to enjoy there jobs. Store was well stocked and very clean. Even the parking lot was maintained with shopping carts all being hauled inside and a gentleman sweeping up trash.”
