“We recently moved to Grundy, VA and were in need of a good mechanic when our tow vehicle developed transmission problems. On the basis of a recommendation from one of our new neighbors, we went to E&K Auto Services. Roger(the owner) installed a rebuilt transmission literally overnight and got us back on the road. I have been a "shade-tree mechanic" for well over fifty years, so you may consider this a qualified opinion. This is the first time I have hired another to do the work on one of my cars, but the thought of lying on the ground to do this sort of work one more time kept me awake for several nights. Roger's professionalism, friendliness and fairness were very impressive. He went over and above to ensure we were happy. Having just finished a nearly one thousand mile trial of the work by hauling a dump trailer filled with gravel for several days and retrieving our 30 foot travel trailer to our new home, I'd say his work passed with flying colors. If you are in need of one of the rarest "birds" on the planet, I highly recommend E & K Auto Services.”
“Repaired exactly what I asked them to repair, leaking radiator, $300, didn't try and sell me services i didn't need. Even gave me a ride home while the repair was being done.
The only issue I had is communication is lacking, no one called to let me know the car was done and I could pick it up.
