“My husband and I loved our stay at The Chesapeake Inn. We stayed with our 7-month-old baby and our dog and they both had a great time, too! We found our room ready with a travel crib set up for our baby and treats and a bed for our dog. There were snacks free of charge in the room which was such a treat because I'm so used to not even looking at overpriced hotel snacks. The duvet was amazing. I want it for my bedroom (seriously... where is it from??)! They even had robes which were surprisingly comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out in the lobby with our baby--there are toys in baskets for children. The outdoor courtyard area is beautifully decorated. The service was wonderful. The owners thought of everything and provided towels and a day pass to the community pool nearby in the room, along with a local newspaper which was fun to peruse. They also left a guide of things to do in the town and surrounding area and had bikes for guests to use. We took some of their restaurant recommendations and we were very happy with our meals. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area! I can't say enough good things about it.”
