“For the quick readers: Staff are friendly and professional at the same time. Very rare combination. Especial thanks to Whitney Thomas who makes sure you have a « good stay » like a hotel. They explain things thoroughly and are careful with details.Dr. Sobhani is a gem. His diagnostics in my case were incredible. I had a condition that was detected by 3 different heart experts (cardiologists). Those cardiologists prescribed me with somemedication that might had side effects. Dr. Sobhani didn’t think they were right and told me to wait few months and take the tests again. He was 100% right after the test that was done few months after, everything was normal. Had he not intervened, I would have been under meds for the rest of my life. 3 cardiologists vs him! He told me « You have been my patient, I have observed your behavior for few years, I thinks it's premature to take the meds. I think this is a temporary condition and you don’t need meds ». That was really priceless for me.I had to travel to Europe with family and we all got COVID. Dr. Sobhani and his staff guided all of us with WhatsApp. Sending us prescription, find equivalent European brands of the prescriptions. He guided me to disconnect my dad’s IV using FaceTime in a hotel room! I honestly believe he and his staff saved my dad this past summer. He was in Critical condition in a country where they didn't speak English and we didn't spoke a word of their language.They are always few mins away via WhatsApp, it's really remarkable. I strongly recommend their program and if you are looking for a high quality health care, they are it.”
“Xcel Urgent Care has wonderful staff and is always quick to admit patients and triage them. Have been seen by Dr G numerous times here over the last 2 years. He is an excellent clinician and truly cares about your well being.
During a recent visit, I was sent to the hospital for further diagnostics. Dr G followed up after my visit, went through my outpatient report, and provided his own recommendations on top of the hospital.
Having been to other urgent cares in the DMV, there isn’t a place I feel better taken care of than Xcel Urgent Care.”

“In general I’ve had good service here but I especially wanted to call out Precious (yes indeed Precious) for her outstanding service which should be above 5. She has better bedside manners that most doctors and she is kind and attentive. Thank you Precious!
P.s. the only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is because Quest billing department’s service is not good and already twice they have overcharged… so a heads up to all. Only pay what your insurance says you owe not the haphazard bill they send you. I was billed over $400 whereas it should have been $65 and I accidentally paid it and I had to go through my insurance customer service to finally get it back! Another time very recently they sent me a bill for over $300 whereas it should have been $45. And their billing customer service never gets back to you to resolve the issue.
But Precious’ service is fantastic. Thank you!”

Most of the time I never feel the needle; when she is done there is only a tiny blood spot to bandage; and by the next day I can't tell where she drew the sample. Despite having only one computer running due to the CrowdStrike/Windows Update issue, the staff calmly and very professionally handled the situation. They kept the process flowing and serving all the customer as they were arriving.

“Making an appointment online was super easy. I went in and was greeted right away, signed in, and was called within 5 mins. The young lady took me to the back and proceeded with the procedure of drawing my blood (I have small veins, so Im a little difficult). She found my vein on the first try, and I was in and out! The room isn't huge, so I would think they would have to have very experienced phlebotomist to get you in and out due to the amount of space. I would recommend this place to anyone. My experience was great!”

I really needed it and it was quick and cheap. In MD it's $30 for my kids birth certificate each. VA is $12. ?. They are safe with social distancing and take your temperament at the entrance.
