a bench ordered on March 18 for May 15 delivery (approx 8 week) was postponed to a July 10 delivery. then conflicting email information was sent that the order was cancelled. a simple couch should not take 5 months to deliver. Nice people in store but I would not recommend this company to anyone

I ordered the dori sisal runner rug over 2 months ago -- it was on the site as "in stock." At first I was thrilled that they had so many size options (I couldn't find a rug long enough for my entry hallway.) The pics were great and on the site it had such good reviews. Well it came today and omg it is trash. To call it a rug is a joke. It is the quality of a mat that you would put outside your backdoor, in front of your washer and dryer in the basement or garage. Two words: RIP OFF

Do not order from BALLARD!! It is a scam! I have been waiting for a delivery over 2 months. I have called customer support countless times and not only are they not helpful they are also dismissive. This has been the worse experience of all time. Stay as far away as possible!!

Ballard designs is a corrupt company. Do not buy from them. Was waiting for a table since October 18 2023. Sent several emails never got a response. Now they say payment was declined but it was already authorized in October but never processed. This is a shady company. Financial institute says they have numerous problems with them Do Not Buy from Ballard Designs.they are theives

If only I had an option for 0 Stars. I didn't realize standard shipping would leave a 4 drawer file cabinet on my front porch in the rain (driver used a dolly to lift it), and expect me to bring it into my house. Also package was not just late, but box was taped together except for the top which was wide opened. The cabinet of course came in damaged on 2 drawer fronts which were pressed wood with the back being stapled with fiberboard. Retail price over $900. I called to return and they can't pick it up unless it's in a box. Well unfortunately the box they sent it in fell apart. Now Ballard is sending a moving company to pick it up in a new box. That takes 2 weeks to schedule while I now have to clean up all of the styrofoam, the old box and look at the damaged file cabinet which I can't move due to its weight sitting in my family room.

My experience with Ballard Designs and their deliver service (JB Hunt) have been terrible. The initial order (T6805469) placed in early November 2023 arrived with damaged items as well as some items not included with the order. As of the end of January 2024, I am still dealing with these issues. The customer service departments with both of these companies have not been able to resolve my issues and I have been given no timeline. I will think twice before I order from Ballard Designs again. Rude workers at the store. Don't buy anything from this store. You can find same items online, thousands cheaper.I will share more here for people to see:Laura was your store representative and she was so nasty and rude. There were no customers in the store and she managed to repel (me) the one customer from the store. Good Luck staying in business with sales people like Laura working for this company. I see it's a trend on reviews to have bad customer service at Ballards.

purchased a Christmas wreath and they resold it to someone else. Manager could not find my receipt in their system. The manager ended up rectifying the situation by finding the customer who had taken the wrong wreath.

Purchased a chair, it was mailed in a flemsey box, arrived damaged, and the custom decorations was not done correctly. Then promised a store credit and were supposed to pickup chair via ups. Never happened multiple excuses.

purchased white buttermilk table. I really like it. I also purchased the chippendale cloth covered chairs on a previous occasion. that's why I needed soft white color rather than high gloss stark white. I hunted every furniture retailer. the styles are rather extreme for me since I am a senior. I also have the he Mia consol and have decided to purchase two more to mak a longer side by side look. they are pricey but I refuse to settle. everything is holding up just fine. I have purchased furniture for several years. I've come to realize that the qualities is more or less the same unless you shop for very high end like Bernhardt. it's all a matter of taste.

Really nice furniture store. Great products but really expensive. Hey, you are in Tysons Corner, What would you expect?we didn't really have any dealings with staff, no greeting, no nothing.... Not the greatest customer service.

Please do not waste your time working here! Most of the management team/team in general are un-professional; and LOVE to create drama for no reason. I recommend that you look somewhere else to find a job/career; because the whole store is a HOT mess!

A very nice store for home furnishings. A little pricey but worth it. A wide variety of unique items to choose from. I highly recommend this store.
