“The owners are the friendliest people.. so accommodating and always smiling. We are right up the road from the store & they have become neighbors since taking over a few years back. I am happy to support a local business every time over any major corporation. Thank you!!”
“The Market at the Lake is my go to spot for gas, beer and snacks. The staff is always friendly and fast. They know immediately that I have the Market rewards card. Keep up the great work!”
“Soooo good! We were driving through the area and did a google search for breakfast spots. We were not disappointed!!! And we ended up spending a bunch in the market as well!!”
“Well provisioned neighborhood grocer with a deli/hot bar. Each department has an eclectic selection to satisfy the diverse culture of the area. The DMV satellite office is a major convenience to locals. The only thing I might recommend would be updating the interior and building itself. Otherwise, thank you for your dedicated and long standing service to our community!”
“Decent sized local grocery store conveniently located right outside the Turkeysag gate of Lake Monticello. Has pretty much anything you would need with a few exceptions: no caffeine free Pepsi (they do have diet caffeine free), no decaf dark roast coffee k-cups (they do have light roast decaf and half-caff), and a very limited supply of seltzer (2 or 3 varieties in 1 liter size). I'm caffeine free, so I noticed the lack of these items - most people wouldn't. They also don't have fresh or frozen bagels. What they do have is previously frozen and then thawed bagels that are wet and sticky and gross to touch, but taste fine toasted. They have a small ready-made hot food kiosk and in-store roasted chickens, either hot or cold.”

“Always choose this market over the Exxon across the street. Gas is normally cheaper and the staff is friendlier. Small selection of normal gas station convenience store items.”
“There is a young man at the checkout counter who is the friendliest most respectful young man I have met in years! I’m sorry I don’t know his name but he absolutely shines as a wonderful customer service employee!! I highly recommend that he receive a promotion. Whatever he chooses to do in life , he will go far. Thank you for your kindness!!”
“Stopped by for a sandwich; wrong day for sandwich so I got some lobster Mach n cheese. Last bowl actually. It was pretty good. Looking forward to more to come from them! Really helpful and nice ladies!!”
