I was so nervous about boarding my two young blue heelers for the first time ever. The owners and staff at Crest Hill were very friendly and responsive and were happy to let me tour the facility before deciding. They answered all my questions and made the process very easy to book our dates.
The double run they stayed in had indoor and outdoor sections available for them. This was a huge plus for me because so many boarding places have to keep the animals inside all the time except for a few scheduled potty breaks. They have regular access to fresh air here. In addition, there was a nice outdoor play area they could be released into some each day for a little extra exercise.
They encouraged me to bring anything from home that would make them feel more comfortable. You can tell they really care about the animals here. I had some concerns come up while I was on my trip and they addressed them and made them right. The owners are easy to reach and communicate with.
I was very pleased when I picked them up because my dogs did not seem stressed at all. I could tell that they had been treated very well. And the staff did a phenomenal job of keeping their run clean. I was totally expecting them to be just a bit smelly and dirty when I got back. But, they were just as clean as when I dropped them off the week before.
I will definitely be using Crest Hill Animal Inn again. Thank you to the owners and staff for taking such good care of my Hank and Rue!

So thankful for the staff at Cresthill. We have one of those high maintenance pups that the vet won't even board but the folks here take him in and care for him like one of their own. We never question leaving him in their care. They are kind and loving and always willing to help and provide love to him when we need to be away.

I've had a great experience. I reached out for a super last minute boarding during the holidays. Thankfully they were able to accommodate me and a last minute adjustment. This was the first time i boarded my dog and was provided with all information to make her feel comfortable. When I picked up my dog she was so happy. I could tell she ate good while there, which is very telling of how she felt during her stay. My dog is very high energy and I could tell she had plenty of room to run because she was so relaxed once we got home and didn't even need a walk. We will definitely be coming back!

New Owners are great people and I’d trust them with my dog (s). They are making tremendous upgrades & take pride in what they do. Has an Outside area for dogs to play. Beautiful area; Crest Hills, VA.

Crest hills Animal Inn will be under new management by or around October 22 2023. We will be upgrading the entire building , dog runs, and staff! We also will be allowing pit bulls and others to board and hopefully by next year have new building for boarding. We will accept guard dogs or police k9!

If you take your dog here you are NOT a good pet owner and shouldn’t own a pet . I took my dog there for a week it’s a jail there ..No grass nothing but an inmate. I had a $160 dog bed I had to throw away soaked in dog piss and my dog smelled so bad of urine it was unreal . The most trashy place ever . It’s very noticeable the person watching the dogs is on drugs.. Trust Pass this place !!! #Savethenextdog

I was advised to call this business by a family friend. The lady told me they could board my dog and then after I informed her that we were “new clients” she told me the “evaluation process” takes 3-4 days. ???. When I inquired about what exactly the eval process consists of, I was told there “wasn’t enough time to discuss it” and was promptly hung up on. If this lady is the owner, shame on her. If this lady is an employee, I hope she isn’t for very much longer. Dodged a bullet on this one!!

When I arrived they were very accommodating. They were friendly and outgoing. The kennels and office were clean and fresh with no doggy odor like you get at some kennels. They checked us in and I carried my dog to his home away from home so I could see where he was going to be staying. They took all my information and instructions for his food. You do have a choice of taking your own food or having them supply it. They had a small platform bed in the kennel which we placed his bed on to, so it wasn't on the floor or anything. I feel like I had made the correct choice in choosing them and will definitely be using their services again in the future. Thanks for taking such good care of my baby!
