We were visiting the area from out of town a few weekends ago and broke down across the street by the fire station. I walked over to Car Quest to try and get help. They walked over to the shop and luckily someone was there who was able to come get our vehicle jumped and over to the shop. Our alternator had died and Car Quest had a remanufactured one there in stock-we decided to go with that in hopes that it would get us back home. Unfortunately less than an hour later all of the dash lights returned and Car Quest and your shop were closed. We ended up finding another parts store that tested that alternator and said it was no good and they had a brand new alternator that we bought and then we paid the mechanic they knew that could install for us. While the remanufactured alternator that you installed was not good, we were still appreciative of the help that was provided even though you were technically closed. Now we have to deal with getting the failed remanufactured alternator returned to that Car Quest because no local store will take it.

Took my truck there to get a new thermastat came back out with the thermastat leaking due to loosing the original bolts. So he just used some random ones that weren't long enough to do the job so when he realized it leaked as a result of not using the original hardware he just filled it with as much gasket maker as possible in an attempt to combat the leak. Laziest and most hack job tech ive ever met in my life. If u like ur vehicle hes the wrong guy to bring it to

Took about 4 months to get our vehicle repaired, and they gave it back with a broken tail light.
Not worth the wait, especially for my overall cost.
With tax, over 800 dollars for two replaced ball joints and didnt align steering. With the 80 bucks minimum extra i need to spend for one new tail light, id recommend steering clear.
Communication was terrible with no answered calls or replied messages for months but apparently the place is under new management, hopefully they get better but i do not intend on being a repeat customer.

I took my 2019 Tundra into Kessler to get an estimate to have them install a transmission cooler. Alex Kessler got back to me about a week later saying that he would install a cooler for $325-$350. This included installing the cooler and changing the transmission fluid. I agreed on this price and dropped off my truck to have the work done. I had to supply the transmission assembly because he was not able to get the part through his suppliers so I purchased and supplied this part. He called me later that day to tell me that he completed the work but it took longer than he thought and was going to charge me $911. After arguing with him that he is trying to charge me nearly 3 times the estimate, he said he would talk with his dad (the owner) and get back with me. I ended up having to pay $784. This is completely unacceptable giving an estimate for a job and charging more than twice the estimate. Horrible business sense. I would definitely not recommend using this place. There is a lot more to this story like Alex mentioning numerous times that he was watching videos on how to do the install, saying that he tested it by driving it 3 times back and forth to check the temp., and saying that he put a scanner on it to see the temp. He drove it once without putting a scanner on it. All of this was recorded on my dash camera and if he put a scanner on he would of noticed that I have a monitoring devise plugged in to give me all the temps on an app on my phone. Alex appears friendly upfront but is dishonest and will tell you lies.

I've used Kesslers for everything since we moved here in 2008. Unless something requires a dealer repair they are our go to auto repair shop for everything. Realy rare to have to take a car back a second time. Prices are very reasonable. We really trust Mr. Kessler.

My cars have a lot of miles and Bill has kept them all running with good work at a fair price. Bill had always been honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend Kessler Automotive!

First of all I will say Bill Kessler is very nice but he's also very shady he got me a used transmission for my van 6000/29 days later that transmission went bad he got me another transmission and charged me $1000.00 to replace that transmission after he had already charged me $3,650 to replace the first one so in all 4680 some dollars to get two used transmissions the first one was supposed to have 90,000 miles on it as it turns out it had two hundred and ninety thousand miles on it so that's why it went bad so quickly then he replaces it with the transmission I currently have which actually did have 94,000 miles and it's working fine. The problem is while they were changing the Transmissions they hit my rear main seal and now it is leaking oil which it did not do before the Transmissions were changed I called Bill and ask him about this and he said not his responsibility when the first transmission went bad Bill said sorry for your luck you guys that want to work with this guy you go right ahead ask for me I wouldn't let him put air in a tire or he may charge for that probably $1,000 because that's his favorite numberService: Transmission

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Had a “miscommunications” more like misunderstanding on THIER side that costed me $300. Been going to them for the same reason for the electrical problem. And some how this time they thought I was talking about something else when I kept making sure it was about the electoral issue. I trusted these ppl to take care of my vehicle yet I came out w the same issue and $300 short. SAD “businessmen” I don’t recommend at ALL
