The Turkish coffee is a great treat. It's good to know where one can get some true espresso style coffee.
Love all the bakalave, turkish delights, and such wonderful treasures, trinkets, handmade jewelery, lamps, table, and chess sets......those cats and other figurines are just adorable.
I look forward to seeing the website up so I may order and know it'll get home safely.
The shop is Very conveniently located, not directly in the heavy hustle and bustle with a couple table/chairs outside. (and next to Retro Eats (great place to eat at))

“The Lazy Daisy is both fun to explore and a terrific shop to find unique gifts--most of them handmade! The shop, located off Richmond Road, is in a cute two-story building that has you feeling like you're entering a country boutique. It's filled with home decor items, canned foods, furniture, candles, jewelry, clothes, and more! The styles are coastal, country, and casual. We selected many items as Christmas presents in December and more recently purchased a cute painted side table for $32 and a "Blind Date with a Book" for $8. The book is wrapped in brown paper with hints about the book written on top, without revealing the name of the book. It's a great gift for readers and for yourself! Prices are mostly reasonable, as you can see from what what we bought. Service is friendly and helpful--especially if you don't quite know what to get that someone special. We love stopping by the Lazy Daisy!”

They also have an extensive selection of cut hardwoods and old wood beams that are great for live edge counter work and fireplace mantels. Fun place to visit with overall reasonable prices.”

“On our way to dinner in Williamsburg while visiting family nearby, we stopped at The Velvet Shoestring to check on their latest antiques and consignment pieces. My sister has scored several niece paintings and decor accessories here over the years, and I was close to purchasing a beautiful dining room set a few years ago that was offered at an incredible price. But for the shipping issues, it would be in my Bucks County home today. We were free to wander around the crammed warehouse-like space without disturbance from staff. I found several Asian pieces (wood carved, metal cast, crystal and pastel ceramic) that were tempting and priced to sell. Didn't pull the trigger because I needed more time to consider which would be best at home. But, still had a good time searching, and may give them a call about safe packaging for the two I am most attracted by. No doubt, we will be visiting again this year (2024), and will stop in again, so even if those things are gone, there will be new and perhaps even better ones to capture my imagination.”

“I ran into this store by accident during a family vacation. I enjoyed checking the fabric in store, and bought a a whole bunch, because of quality and great price . Staff were polite and very helpful. The upholstery work I did with their fabric came out amazing. I ordered more fabric online it was also a pleasant experience. They communicated very well and informed we with any changes. They also were transparent about discounts and how much reorders will cost. This store carry reasonably priced high end fabric pieces. One of my favorite stores to buy fabric for my small upholstery business.”
“I purchased a recliner for my elderly (93) mom just over a year ago. The shop has an extensive selection of quality furniture, and the initial customer experience, from selection to delivery, was exceptional. But, the store REALLY excelled during the past two weeks. The switch on the recliner failed, and I called the shop. They found the sale record and explained that the factory was closed over the holidays, but they promised to get back to me. They actually called! I was told they had the part, and would pick up the chair for repairs, and return it the same day. Call me skeptical, but I thought "sure, you will". The chair was picked up this morning and returned, in working order, this afternoon. Thank you to Erin, and the other caring employees of this wonderful establishment. I'm duly impressed with the customer experience you have delivered! My mom sits in this chair for all her waking hours, and we are grateful to you for following through at every step.”

“Anyone that knows me know that I absolutely love this store they used to have a lot around Florida but now they don't have as many anymore. Which is kind of sad you can kind of see where the store is slowly going which makes me melancholy because this is actually one of my favorite clothing stores. There used to be one in Tallahassee Florida when I first moved to Tallahassee and now there is none in Tallahassee at all so you would have to travel to Orlando to get to rainbow. Moving to Virginia three years ago I didn't even know they had this store but all of the stores in Virginia is spread out so if you have a store in your town cherish it because it might go away. This particular store I feel the staff could be more helpful and nicer they gave off I don't wanna be bothered vibes but if you ask for help they'd help you but then again you don't want those type of people helping you. The feel of the store is the same in any rainbow store that I go in which makes me happy looking for clothes is easy I never have any issues with that I love those shoes selection even though this store in particular didn't really have a lot of options it's still one of my favorite stores.”
