“One of the best places to be on a Sunday morning in Timberville Virginia. Great pastor and a welcoming family of Christians. Always a privilege to be part of this gathering. You're all invited to be part next Sunday”

“I know this is just a fancy Dollar general but its nice, and it has stuff I use at a good price. These would do well in urban and suburban areas tgey would give five below a run for there money.”

“Traveling from DC on route 11 one late afternoon .. stop by the Longs Antique Shop for quick visit .. on my Right up the drive stands this lovely huge old brick Historic Home with a lovely long yard with a wrap around porch to oversee Spring Hay Growing in the fields ... towards the backside of the home the Antique Shop is in full site.. to see a large porch with a selection of iron garden fences, iron urns .. along with primitive furniture once entering the shop..I could not believe the selection of antiques furniture in old paint, old finish, .. Corner cupboards, Pie Safes, Blankets Chest etc just unbelievable ....looking on top , inside and around the furniture you will view the most beautiful decorated valley stoneware and between all the stoneware are local Baskets .. I could not believe under one roof all these lost treasures of the Shenandoah Valley.. Furniture decorated with accessories to move directly into your home ...the shop is professional decorated with love .. I could have spent hours looking, studying the information on each item..Of course I bought several crocks for my home.. this was a true experience of walking back into time ..so many great pieces of furniture, decorated stoneware, Baskets and gardening decorations in one stop..”

“We visit the Country Cafe in Little Washington from time to time with our friend who lives there. I just heard that the owner is considering closing this wonderful restaurant and we are SO upset!! Betty always greets us so cheerfully and the cook makes my favorite BLT whenever we are there. My husband, Mack, always enjoys the special of the day and our friend has a sandwich she loves, too. The prices are VERY reasonable and the food is great! WHY close this restaurant that has been a tradition in Little Washington for as long as we can remember (30 years) of eating there. It's nice - in such a expensive town (cozy and lovely, but expensive!) to be able to go out to a good lunch and pay reasonable prices. And Betty is such an asset - she greets us and serves us and is always warm and welcoming - don't often find that in today's rush-rush world!! PLEASE DON'T CLOSE THE COUNTRY CAFE!!! Thank you - Annie and Mack Rowe, Madison, Va.”
