This started out well but ended badly.
It is so disappointing anymore to be nice to and try to trust people.
BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALER!
I will never sit foot on this dealership again. My advice to you is that you do the same.
This adventure all started when I wanted to examine the roof. I was told that the roof had been cleaned and was fine and for liability reasons, I could not go on the roof. To be honest this is when I should've walked away but I didn't, I trusted them. I will carry the fault in this. I did later in the process discuss/question the roof again and was told it was fine and in good shape not to worry. Needless to say, I did buy the unit, it is a nice camper, Used and is a fifth wheel. Luckily at least I can say that.
I would advise anyone buying a used unit to use extreme caution with these people. They will not be totally honest with you. After the purchase and when I was able to I went on the roof to find a 14" x 14" patch. I understand liability issues but I do believe however they did not want me to see the patch. But it doesn't stop there..
Because the unit is used, I asked for the wheel Bearings to be repacked. My request started out to be an issue with resistancebut then suddenly honored. They RV was in front of the building the day they did this work. I went out to check on things and noticed the RV was gone. They had moved around to the backside of the building. When I tried to check on it I was told I was not allowed back there. When I tried to look from a distance they shut the doors. This made me question whether or not my wheel bearings got repacked. Most definitely shady. My son was with me that day and we were about to hook up to the unit when he heard a beeping sound coming from the battery compartment. Codey the Service representative was there as well and heard the beeping, He said he would have it looked into. I had to finish up some business inside as they addressed the beeping sound. When I came out I was told The batteries had depleted. ? Supposedly they put new batteries in each unit sold. I asked why this occurred and was told that it was not left plugged in overnight perhaps something inside was left turned on that after I tow it my truck would charge the batteries back up. Well, it didn't happen that way, it turns out there's a problem with the charging system a.k.a. the solar panel. I am a short distance from the dealership and asked that someone come and deal with the issue. The short distance being a 20 minute drive from the dealership to where my RV is currently parked/docked. They refused to do that. They want me to hook it up and bring it to them. I have read other reviews about how that works out. It seems it's not about my convenience but about theirs. I don't think it's too much to ask that they come that short distance, bring a replacement battery and wire this system correctly that they should've done before I left the lot. A lot of this is my fault because I trusted them. I will accept that. Next time I'm told I can't go on the roof I will either walk away or I'll go buy a drone. If there's a beeping sound it will get resolved before I leave. Being old school as I am, it is heartbreaking that you can't take a man at his word anymore. You can't trust people because they will lie to you. And then when you spend your hard earned money buying a used unit. Once they collect your money they don't want anything to do with you. Lastly I will say this, when I would call there it seemed like they all knew who I was (caller ID) They would not answer the phone. Cody is the only one that would talk to me. When I gave my name to the receptionist, she responded oh I thought so. I don't know whether that was a good or bad thing but I suspect it was a bad thing. I was always patient and very nice when I would call.
I won't be calling anymore. I will never set foot on that dealers

Their sales department is great! However, their service department is not so great. I had a leaking gas issue with my brand new RV. So I called to schedule an appointment. The appointment wasn't scheduled until 1 month later which I could understand and be patient for however I then had to wait another month for the RV to be looked at by one of their service techs so I didn't get the point of making an appointment if they are just to keep it in their yard to get to it. Anyways, Camping World finally found the problem being the manufacturers fault so now we wait while the manufacturer sends the parts and fixes. It is just frustrating for me that the RV wasn't inspected properly before being sold and that I am paying monthly for something I can't enjoy or use.

I absolutely do not recommend this Camping World for your RV repairs. They had our RV for two years and still didn't finish the warranty work, plus they caused more damage to the RV. Things started off fine and we got regular updates for the first few months. But then suddenly the updates stopped. Inquired a couple months later and found out the service manager and general manager had both left. Took them several more months to try to figure out what was repaired and not repaired on our RV. Then several more months of excuses as to why it's not done. We finally told the manufacturer that we had enough so they picked up the RV and hauled it to their location in Indiana for repair. We will never use or recommend this Camping World for RV repair needs.

I purchased an RV from Camping World. The sales staff had zero knowledge of the vehicle, and provided me with minimal training on the vehicle in the "class" that was given. They lost the spare set of keys to the vehicle, and I only took receipt of the vehicle after being promised (in writing) that I would be reimbursed for having to go and purchase them myself. I have tried for MONTHS to get in touch with Camping world to be reumbursed. They are consistently "not available", and completely ignore my requests for call back and email. If you are in the market for an RV in the area, do yourself a favor avoid Camping World at all cost.

We just retrieved our trailer from 60 days on consignment. No one could find the keys for it. They had to use Master keys to get into anything. Just seems like nobody knows what anybody else is doing. The fact that they can lose a set of keys for a trailer in their possession just blows me away so now I have to take pictures of all the locks send them to them and we’re going to have to replace the locks. I’m not taking it back. I’m not leaving it. there. I will not do business with them again.
Then the whole consignment thing. I don’t really believe anybody tried to sell the trailer. It was overpriced by at least 10,000 -$12,000, never shown, we had more interest through Facebook than they got sitting on their lot with a national sales system.

Bought Cougar 5th wheel from here. Had a problem with a stuck slide. Make an appointment they said and bring it in. I can't drive down the road with a slide out. They gave no help.

This place is trash! Bought a 2019 fifth wheel and in LESS than 1 year had over $9k+ in issues!!!! It’s spent more time in the driveway being repaired than anywhere else. Thank God for mobile Rv techs because this camper couldn’t even make it to the shop, the leveling system went bad. What warranty didn’t cover (out of the $9k+ warranty only covered 1k) we’ve been stuck with the bill! Camping world offered NOTHING. All they’ve done was slap tape on preexisting issues and resell it! STAY AWAY!!!!!

It was ok, but Jake was a little pushy with getting us to sign a paper to check credit even though we told him that we had another place to look before we make any move on a camper. When we wanted to look at campers other than what he had written on his list he said we didn't have time to. I thought that was awful because I am the one looking. I won't work with him when I do go back and I do plan on going back to get the one I like.

I walked in here looking for help for an online order that I had placed using their website and using the online system to pick the parts that I need. The parts came to my house but they don't fit my Rv. Online says to print a slip and bing to the store so I did. Clearly the parts manager didn't even wanted to look at what I had. She quickly said that they don't do online returns there. That their policy has changed. Weird how it changed from the previous week to today. Very disappointed on how poorly we were treated. She was definitely bothered by the fact we came in looking for help.
Stay away from this place. Rude manager means poorly run store!!!!

Received a message from the store in Myrtle Beach. They did not have the unit I was looking for but went the extra mile and found the make and model I was looking for. They connected me to Chris in Thornburg VA. What a great experience from start to finish. Keith was a great help and knew his job very well. Chris was very upfront and honest. If he didnt know something he found out promptly. Not to metion it was nice to see someone from the younger generation with hustle, politeness, professionalism. Should I ever look to buy another camper, I will definitely shop here.

NO stars!!!
Horrible service. Horrible sales experience.
Sales manager lied and lied. Caught them in lies. If I didn’t want this unit so bad….. in hind sight, when I hooked back to my trade and left, and it took them over an hour to call me, I should have kept driving home.
Be smart. Save yourself A LOT of stress.
DO NOT BUY or have ANYTHING serviced here.
Took 10 months, 8 trips, over 40 hours of my time driving my unit back and forth, to get original warranty issues, and things they tried to repair repaired again.
Calling corporate is a joke. Fake concerns, and even fake promises.
I try to warn everyone I know and see about my experience. I know of 3 different folks that have regretted their purchases at McGeorges Camping World also.
On Facebook, please check out Camping World Sucks. You’ll see this is a corporate driven, horrible experience happening nationwide. Please research before buying from this bully of a company!!

Don’t trust them to sell your vehicle, they will steal and violate contracts. Filing a claim with BBB and going to small claims court for a clear violation of contract. They admitted to the mistake and then totally ghosted. They are even ignoring corporate orders to finalize transaction. Total incompetence! Very frustrating!
