On a list of must visit antique shops in Hunt Country my first recommendation is always Baileywyck. I've never visited the shop and not been greeted by the wonderful owner. She thoughtfully curates her shop with unique and one of a kind pieces from all over Europe (I'll never stop regretting missing out on buying an antique Paris Metro seat from the 20s!) and because her selection is so large she is always there to help you find the hidden treasure you're looking for. I find antique shops can feel out of reach or intimidating but Baileywyck has works of decorative art on display in what feels like the warmest possible setting. You can feel the love and care that goes into the store!

Beautiful shop full of very interesting finds. Chandeliers and large signs are wonderful. Definitely many prices not for the faint of heart but if you need interesting and unique furniture and baubles, the shop is a wonderful place to stop and spend an hour or two.

This place is one of the greatest finds west of DC. The owner is passionate about finding beautiful furniture and accessories priced to fit any budget. Plan on spending considerable time browsing. Step into the store, and you'll be transported to a bygone era filled with treasures waiting to be discovered. With its impeccable collection, knowledgeable owner, and charming ambiance, Baileywyck is a true gem for "weekend" shoppers and collectors alike. The owner offers fair pricing, understands value, and ensures that customers receive a genuine investment while providing competitive pricing within the market. She also provides detailed information about each item's history and provenance, clarifying the value. We bought seven elegant one-of-a-kind chandeliers for a new project and left a wish list for her next buying trip. The store is right off I-66 (exit 31) towards Middleburg.

What a beautiful shop full of truly exquisite pieces. The owner Lisa is so hospitable! She has collected beautiful furniture, paintings, signs, figurines, chandeliers and more from around the world. We have been to many antique stores and this one is set apart. It's very clean, it doesn't have the musty smell, and she has beautiful taste. There are a lot of unique pieces here that you will not find at a common antique store. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Lisa shared that many of her pieces come from Europe, but I also noticed a few Asian influences as well. I would highly recommend Baileywyck Antiques to anyone interested in this hobby or looking for one of a kind pieces to showcase in their home!

Lots of furniture and higher end antiques without too much junk/knick knacks cluttering up the space. Look up! I was impressed with the size and scale of some of the antique lighting and they had a few wired in to demonstrate that they are working.

if Frank or one of his understudies is still repairing antique furniture out of here, why would you tempt fate and go anywhere else?

Great store. Lots of nice items. Not junky like so many "antique" shops.

A must do if you are in The Plains or nearby Middleburg. Filled with all kind of fabulous, Baileywyck is brimming with antiques of all sorts, lighting , prints all things interesting and unique. Also looking for something specific owner Lisa V likely can find it for you. You have to check out the new Middleburg Chair line too so lovely ! I always enjoy stopping in and seeing what’s new.

A very nice collection of antiques. Often large tables, dining sets and large signs. This store is a worthwhile trip. I frequent the place every 4 months roughly to see what might be a newly stocked item. I bought a beautiful etching of a red fox here, and had it framed by an Argentine picture framer down the road just past the railroad tracks.
