Four years ago, I purchased a 2006 Ford F150 Lariat from Charles “Chuck” Lowe (owner) of Mint Motors Corp in Bluefield Va. The sole purpose of getting the truck was to tow my travel trailer. He knew this as soon as we began conversing on the lot. Last week, I took it to be inspected. During the process, I was told that the truck frame had been patched prior to me taking ownership. Never was it mentioned during the sale process. I would not have purchased the truck under those circumstances. Since learning this I have sold it & disclosed the frame issue to the buyer. I was upfront & honest as I wish Mint Motors Corp would have been to me.
Fast forwarding to yesterday…I am back in the market looking for a “reliable” preowned truck. Charles “Chuck” Lowe listed a 2017 GMC Sierra on Marketplace. I decided to go look at it & it was an opportunity for me to tell him about the frame issue on my Ford truck I had purchased from him. After friendly conversation I showed him pictures of the frame. I did not expect an apology, because that would admit fault. However, his response was “looks like we missed that one.” I gave him the benefit of the doubt, even though it was obvious that he sold me a truck that he knowingly knew had a compromised frame. Against my better judgement, I looked at the 2017 GMC Sierra & even test drove it. It was a sharp truck in what appeared to be excellent condition. I told him I needed to check about financing, so he gave me a bill of sale to provide the bank. Before lunchtime today I called to let him know that everything was good to go. When I somewhat jokingly asked if the truck was still available, he informed me that he was in the process of selling it to someone else.
The moral of this story is “fool me once…shame on you! Fool me twice…shame on me! I know that I am only one person, but if my experience with Charles “Chuck” Lowe (owner) of Mint Motors Corp in Bluefield Va prevents someone else from being in a similar situation with this business, then something good will come out of a bad situation.

What a great place to stop, if in need of a vehicle they are where to go maybe the fairest prices in 3 states! And good people, not your average car lot.

The only reason i give 4 stars because I have honestly never purchased anything from this company but they have really good reasonable prices & their vehicles appear to be well taken care of.

I stop in there sometimes just to shoot the breeze with Chuck. You could not buy a car from a guy that is nicer to me. I have no reason to think he is not just as nice to everyone else. His wife seems to like him, too. That's two people. That suggests to me that Chuck is a really nice guy to buy a car (some pretty shiny looking trucks is mostly what I see) from.

Absolutely the dirtiest business I have ever dealt with. Talked to the owner Charles Edward Lowe about a vehicle. Was in the parking lot inspecting the vehicle walked in the office with cash in hand and he was selling it to another person who pulled in 10 minutes after me. Extremely dirty business practices. Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!

Absolutely dirty business practices. Very unpleasant and unprofessional service. Not even sure this is a licensed business. Avoid at all cost.

Recently bought a 2012 Volvo C70 convertible. I've never had a car I've liked so much! It looks nearly new and runs very well. The mechanic said it's in great shape. Bought it in Fort Myers.
