Same experience that everyone else here has had. My doctor informed me that she would never ever call another prescription in here because the staff is absurdly rude, and I agree.

This place is unbelievable to say the least. Teresa likes to talk over people while they are talking not to mention when asked what time an order will be filled she says oh after lunch. Seriously unprofessional and then when you show up “after lunch” all of a sudden they claim they can’t fill the order 2 days early when it’s a new prescription as in not a refill. I wouldn’t have even giving one star but I had to in order to comment. I’m sure some of these people are hard working good people but they have some that are not. They also gave the wrong order when they had an updated one they were supposed to fill they handed out the old one. I could go on like the time they were asked if a vitamin order was ready and they said yes then handed over a heart medication instead without saying that it was a heart medication, which made the client very sick. Yes the doctor did order the heart medication but CVS was told not to fill it afterwards and they did and handed it out as a vitamin. To top it off afterwards when asked about the vitamin the during the next visit they said “oh well that’s over the counter” and pointed to another part of the store. “It’s over there” maybe they could have said that the first time. Maybe if I was related to them they would have helped me find it. In my opinion that’s a lot of mistakes to make in a very short amount of time and don’t try to talk to them about it because they will retaliate.

DANGEROUS!!! Changing my rating after a couple months of using this Tazewell CVS. I feel that even after speaking directly to the Pharmacist, nothing has changed. If you're new to the area, make sure you look at what they're handing to you bc they won't tell you. Even over the phone, they do not speak professionally. I've been handed heart medicine that I thought was a vitamin and ended up taking it for a week and got very sick. The last medicine filled for my pain management was the WRONG medication, eben though both times i called ahead to make sure it was good to go. I'm literally mind blown that this place is even running. This last pickup will be strike 3 if they screw up again. Who has time to wait all day for somethingi called ahead to ensure they fill the right one. I'm looking for a new pharmacy, even though I'll have to drive further. Beware. ♥️

You know, with the amount of stuff these people have been through, I'm surprised they stay in such good spirits and give the customer service they do. It is beyond what you would expect anywhere else. They are doing great and are a very warm and loving team. Also, they are super funny and their parents would be proud.

Through the years this pharmacy has really took a nose dive!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! ESPECIALLY IN THE PHARMACY!!! I'm very thankful that My family has other pharmacy options. Calling to check on a prescription is a JOKE!! IT TAKES AN ACT OF CONGRESS TO SPEAK TO A ACTUAL HUMAN BEING!!!

I was on hold for an hour and no one answered the phone. Store manager offered to transfer back to the pharmacy again to be put on hold for 30 minutes. Taking my business elsewhere.

Extremely rude staff my doctor has called and the medication on two separate occasions that I desperately need. FYI not pain relievers or anything like that it’s medication I need they refuse to refill it just keep tell me go to the drop off. I shouldn’t have to they were rude told me they didn’t need me I have never been that treated like that before they won’t listen. Oh, and every time you call if you’re on the phone Forever I’ve called four times to try to talk to them on the phone for 40 minutes each time before I hang up never got hold of no one

Over the past 6-12 months, this pharmacy had made consistent "mistakes" that are inexcusable. They cannot keep track of their orders. The lines are backed up halfway through the store and I have never once walked in when the pharmacist does not have prescriptions ready that are necessary for their customers health. They are receiving constant complaints from customers in store and all around social media. On top of everything, Virginia law states that certain medications may be refilled up to three days early but according to CVS "store policy," The pharmacist, who I spoke directly with, now says two days when I have previously had no issues refilling my medications 3 days early. Today they have lost my business and I recommend to everyone that is having trouble with this pharmacy to take their business elsewhere. Many other companies would love your business and in my opinion, cvs does not.

The staff at this Pharmacy is extremely rude. When you take a prescription into the pharmacy the pharmacy staff will be standing talking about personal things and let you stand in line waiting. I tried to call the Pharmacy two times and was left on hold for 30 minutes for the first call with no answer and hung up and called again and was on hold for over an hour with no answer.

Some of the staff is rude and hateful. Rarely get kind and caring. You can’t get through to them on the phone. The wait is insane I’ll call for a refill and it will be no less than 2-3 hours.

Any medication that is prescribed is for a valid reason. The person needs this medication refilled in a timely manner. When the pharmacy is closed due to having no staff, and never answers the phone when they are working. How can a person find out about the refill status other than going by multiple times and standing in line for a minimum of over 30 minutes. Then to be told your prescription refill is not ready. I questioned a red haired employee about the delay and his response was " If you wasn't on said medication this would not be a problem. "That due to being short staffed it would take between 10 and 14 days before my prescription refill would be ready. " This particular medication is fairly common and other pharmacies have it in stock. Not receiving a refill in a timely matter in some cases could be life threating. Especially for someone with a serious health condition.This pharmacy is becoming well known in the local area for not being open, not answering phones, long wait times and rude employees. I along with many others in the area have changed pharmacies due to this behavior.

Our insurance makes us go to CVS, otherwise I'd be switching in a heartbeat. They never answer their phone, and lately they've been closing the store sporadically. Take my advice and go somewhere else.
