“I love going to this pharmacy. They always have the medicine you need and if they don’t, they get it fairly quickly. Although the wait sometimes can be long, you can’t beat the people at the counter, most of them. They are extremely friendly and are always willing to help. Shout out to Anna and Lawanda, two of my favorites.”
“It was nice to find one while traveling. I didn't need a prescription, only spotted in for snacks. I wish they had drinks without high fructose corn syrup. Ended up getting water, pistachios and soft mints (made with cane sugar).”

1840 Tappahannock Blvd, Tappahannock“I had two prescriptions. One of which would’ve been $700 retail. Fortunately, I had insurance. After they processed my insurance - my insurance declined the prescription. So I had to call the insurance company and found out I had presented an old ID card. Anyway, they were very patient with me and spoke with my insurance company to verify my insurance and the correct ID number. Then … the insurance only covered $320. One of the pharmacy staff then told me to apply online with the drug company. I sat down again and immediately qualified for a discount. Drug now cost $10 per month (after insurance)! I would’ve never asked about any options as I’m new to the monthly prescription process. I was so grateful for the GREAT service at Walgreens in Tappahannock. I’ll be back!!”
“Have been getting my prescriptions from here for over 4 years now, and I have no desire to stop any time soon. They take the time to get to know their client base, but just as someone picking up a script, but as a person. It is the last few of a dying breed. Mln and pop pharmacies are few and far between these days. It is nice going in and being addressed by your first name before having to give it, or last name, it really depends on which pharmacist is working that day lol”
