Beware! I don't usually come to ulta, came to get just a shampoo, decided it was the wrong type so attempted to return it.
It is unopened and I havethe receipt. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND ME BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE AN ULTA ACCOUNT. I asked the manager, Julie, how to fix this (surely not everyone who goes to ulta has an account?) and she shrugged and said I don't know. Three different customer service reps online told me and Julie on speaker phone that Julie needs to refund me because I had the receipt and I am within the return window (only 5 days), and that is their policy.... she shrugged still and said I can't do it. The customer service rep online was baffled at her attitude but told me ultimately they couldn't override it because it was an in store purchase. I spoke to another regional manager Angie who was equally unhelpful and actually quite rude. After trying to return a shampoo for the past two hours, I hung up and left the store. If someone from Ulta is concerned about the legality of refusing a refund when presented with the required receipt and product, please contact me prior to me speaking with my own legal counsel next week. Thank you.

Arrogant employee would not let me, the alternate pickup person, pickup an order for my wife. She stated she required the person who placed the order's ID, even though I was listed as an alternate. So after trying to contact my wife so she could send a picture of her physical ID, and waiting for 10+ minutes, she changed her mind and handed me the order, albeit right after it started down pouring rain outside...never shopping here again.

Asked for strawberry blond and came out with copper. Way to dark. They offered to fix for extra money. Big blob of blond on back left side of my head. Do not go to Ulta. This place is just hair cuttery by another name. Talked to manager Anthony and all he could do was offer discount on future service. If you go here just know that they won't fix it if you don't like it.

Not sure why no access to tester perfumes but I get ot lots of shoplifters.
I still love the store and staff was helpful

Ulta may have wider variety, but their sub par customer service will always lead me to go to Sally's instead. It seems like when you ask a question to find something, you're the most annoying person in the world for asking the Ulta employees to do their job. I won't be back.

The fragrance selection is trash. How the fragrances are organized by brand and not separated by gender? Trash. Having to have employee open the display case to test the fragrances? Trash. Locating said employee? Trash. Does the employee even have a key? Trash. No coffee beans? Also trash. No testing sticks? Super flaming hot garbage fire.
0/10 will not go back to this location. I keep trying because it’s closer to me, but I think I’ll drive over to Hampton in the future.

I sweeeeaar every time I go in the employees scatter. I see them Bob and weave every customer and it’s so frustrating. I wanted to be quick with my question and get a recommendation and be in and out but spent 15 minutes just trying to chase anyone down who wasn’t rushing to the back. And finally when I did, she seemed annoyed and walked me as slow as possible to the product and seemed to hate the few more questions I had about it. I loathe going here but unfortunately I don’t live too close to any other beauty product retailers.

I have to agree with the other negative reviews. I've shopped at this location a handful of times through the years & have been an Ulta rewards member for a long time. I usually just do quick in & out trips (I know exactly what I need). Most recently I went to return an item that I just purchased 2 days before. The item was unopened and unused. The sales associates had such an attitude and felt the need to interrogate me about a simple return. I politely said never mind, I won't be shopping here any more. I wish I paid attention to her name. It was an older lady white dyed black hair.
