I brought my 78 year old mother to the ER with complaints of chest tightness and short of breath . They took over 30 min to check her in . Once checked in they moved quickly with an EKG, and X-ray however once we were put in the room . We seen the doctor he told us he would be looking at some blood work and come back with some answers , we seen the nurse 2 x in 5 hours. I had to ask for an update on labs and it still took another hour before even seeing anyone else . They don’t come in to make sure your comfortable , you pain level or anything. They stand around talking and laughing as if they have no patients. It is the worst treatment I have ever experienced especially being you have an elderly patient complaining of chest tightness. I understand they have others to tend to but a peak in every now and then or an update makes a world of difference.

My LO was able to get in quickly, get a chest xray, bloodwork, and a urinalysis with results, a diagnosis of pneumonia, and treatment in one and a half hours. All employees were wonderful from start to finish. The new facility is spacious and caters to the patients needs. The experience was a breath of fresh air.

I was sitting in the waiting room for an hour and 15 minutes waiting for a mammogram. All I hear from the receptionist is 'we're short handed, they will be with you shortly.' They could have called and told me they were running over an hour late. I was more comfortable at home. This will be my last mammogram here!!Finally went back and it took less than 10 minutes from the time I started taking off my clothes, had my mammogram and completed re-dressing! I have never had a mammogram so fast. I was never given any instructions such as 'hold your breathe' 'turn your head this way' nothing! No questions asked! When I asked the technician she said they don’t do that any more. I didn't feel I got a good mammogram!

Worst E.R. experience I have ever had! The staff were extremely unprofessional and showed zero empathy. I was not informed regarding my care or lack thereof. I was treated horribly and misdiagnosed. I reached out to the patient advocate and never heard back. They clearly do not care about patient satisfaction!

I REPORTED ABUSE TO SENTERA HOSPITAL ON 12-23-22 AND 12-24-22 AND 1-9-23, BUT THEY ABUSED ME TOO, BECAUSE I REPORTED ABUSE.NOW THEY ARE ALLOWING THIS DOCTOR TO LIE ABOUT ME ON DIGNOSES AND THEY ARE MAKING STUFF UP....I HAVE AUDIO, VIDEO AND DOCUMENTATIONS.THEY ARE PURPOSELY IGNORING MY REAL HEART CONDITIONS, BESIDES POTS.I NEED TO SEE A CARDIOLOGIST EVERY 6 MONTHS AND 21 MONTHS THEY HAVE IGNORED ME.NOW MY SYMTOMS WHAT I HAVE TURED INTO POTS AND I COULD HAVE OTHER THINGS WRONG WITH MY HEART.20 DIFFENT MISDIAGNOSES ON PURPOSE, BECAUSE A DOCTOR ABUSED ME.NO XRAYS OR MRI OF NO PROOF OF ANYTHING.I GAVE DR. BUNCH A LETTER AROUND 9:30PM 10-5-23 TO GIVE SENTERA BELLE HARBOR BRIDGE ROAD, REMIND YOU THIS WAS LAST NIGHT, BUT IF THEY WERE SO WORRIED ABOUT ME, WHY DID THEY WAIT UNTIL 4:30PM TODAY 10-6-23 TO HAVE POLICE COME TO MY HOUSE FOR A WRLFARE CHECK? ? TRY TO PRETEND THEY CARE AND TO PROTECT THEM OR JUST TO TORTURE ME MORE.MY HUMANRIGHTS 1948, CONSINTUTIONAL RIGHTS AND CIVIL RIGHTS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED.I AM PLANNING ON KILLING MYSELF, BECAUSE I CAN'T TAKE THE ABUSE. NOT NOW...I AM PLANNING LATER, BECAUSE I HAVE TO SPEAK UP BEFORE THEY KILL ME AND I AM GOING TO DO IT BEFORE THEY REALLY KILL ME, THEY ARE BODILY HURTING ME. I AM GOING TO SEND MY MEDICAL PAPER WORK TO CHURCHES, STANGERS, THE PRESIDENT, FBI AND WHOEVER CAN LISTIN.I DON'T WANT TO KILL MYSELF NOW, LIKE I TOLD THE OFFICERS EARLIER....THAT READ WHAT I GAVE TO SENTERA. SHOWED THEM PROOF. I HAVE SO MUCH MORE, BUT BRFORE I GO DOWN THEY ARE GOING TO GET EXPOSED IF THEY DON'T HELP ME BY FRIDAY.I AM DONE!!! I NEED THREE MAJOR SURGERIES AND EVERYTHING HAS BEEN IGNORED AND REDIRECTED TO WHERE I DON'T NEED THAT, I NEED THIS.THE OFFICERS 10-6-23 BELIEVED ME AND SAID SORRY. THEY WERE VERY NICE.ALSO, I DIDN'T GO TO SENTERA AND NEVER HEARD OF THEM UNTIL DECEMBER 22ND 2022, BUT THE DOCTOR WHO ABUSED ME HAS THEM AND A NEUROLOGIST ON A NOVEMBER 2022 THAT IT IS MARKED THAT I SAW THEM OR WAS GOING TO SEE THEM.I WAS BEING SET UP FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.THIS IS JUST A GLIMPSE. I was at Belle Harbour for an outpatient procedure. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like I was important. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and kind. They explained everything very clearly. When I got back to the surgery area, the medical staff were all very kind and concerned. They also made me feel like I was important. Everything was explained clearly and I knew what to expect. After my procedure and as I was escorted to my vehicle at discharge, the excellent level of care continued. I have another procedure scheduled at Belle Harbour and I am very comfortable with my decision utilize this facility.

The best ER ever. Everyone kind, professional, efficient and competent. I had to visit your ER Fri the 15th. I didn't know where to go because I was visiting from out of town. I surely made the right choice. I'd like to mention Dr Noble, James who did the EKG, Jodi my nurse and Jennifer that did the chest xray. Pleas pass this review to your CEO/president. My name is Marilyn Evenson

The doctors in the ER do not follow the Hippocratic oath. I always leave worse than before. You are monstersWhy would I contact you all again when you don't listen and then pass the blame on. That happens at both belleharbour and Obici. They medically gaslight patients and all your patient advocate does is protect the hospital. I am tired of the medical neglect and malpractice when I go to these locations. I'd rather go to an old blind Dr than let your drs and pas near me again

Had an abcess in my mouth that needed to be drained because it was nearly cutting off my airway. Was told by the nurse that "it wasnt ready to be drained". On top of that we came at 6pm and left at 9:30 pm to be told nothing could be done. Went to Norfolk General drained and given meds in less than an hour. Do better Belle Harbour.

This stand alone e.r caught what a full blown hospital couldn't and absolutely saved my life. I will ALWAYS make whatever drive to come out here to these amazing people who cared and saved me. I can't thank you enough.

Not only will you waste your time but also your money! I got a bill from Sentra Obici Hospital. What they will not tell you is that going to this ER is like walking into Obici and they will charge you as so.

The rating should be -☆'s!I was here April 14, 2023. The most uncaring and unprofessional staff I have ever seen in a hospital. Standing around talking and laughing! With no one in the waiting room they had time to speak to the few waiting and update them on why it was taking so long to see a doctor or get in a bed. I was vomiting and in so much pain I could not stand. After 1.5 hours we left and went to Riverside in Newport News where I were treated with care and respect. Riverside ER was packed but in 30-40 minutes I was in a room and had surgery the next morning (Saturday). I spent a week in Riverside ICU and a regular room. The entire staff from doctors and nurses to the lady that delivered my meals were caring, respectful and professional. I wish Riverside in Suffolk!!

I arrived with my husband with severe abdominal pain. I dropped him off at the door and the security guard immediately got him a wheelchair and wheeled him over to a spot in the check-in line. By the time I parked the car and got inside to be with him he was 2nd in line. We were checking in within 30 minutes and they already had him completing tests as they instructed him to give a urine sample. No sooner has he completed that then the phlebotomist came and got him for blood work they ordered. While they were taking his blood they realized he was dehydrated from 48 hours of intestinal distress so they started IV fluids which was a blessing as he was so dehydrated. They had him back in a room in about 45 minutes. The doctor came and saw him within the first hour being there. She did a physical exam and ordered an EKG and CT scan. EKG was done within minutes. The CT scan was done within 30 minutes. During that timeframe registration came and checked us in and got our copay which I offered to pay. They didn't ask as my husband is in an awful amount of pain. They also came and checked on his IV fluid bag during that time too. They brought him back from the CT scan and told us 30-60 minutes for the results to be ready and then the doctor will be back with us. Everyone from start to finish has been incredibly nice, professional, and compassionate. Around 3 pm they informed him he has a mechanical obstruction in his small intestine and they're having the surgical team come speak to him and then they're going to have him transported to Sentara Obici for emergency surgery. So thankful for the kind, compassionate, and professional healthcare providers at Sentara Belle Harbour Emergency Department. He was at Sentara Obici in a surgical room by 5:30 pm. Six hours total time from walking in ER to being in a hospital room. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my husband!
